NRTI was established in the year 2018 in Vadodara, Gujarat. NRTI is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is India's first university focused on transport-related education, multidisciplinary research and training. The institute is built to develop professionals for the railway and transportation sector. The institute offers UG and PG courses. The selection is solely based on the scores obtained in the entrance examinations like JEE Main/CAT/MAT/XAT scores.

NRTI has collaborated with numerous overseas universities to provide foreign exposure to students. Students who are from a financially weaker section are provided with financial aid by the college. National Rail and Transportation Institute Vadodara campus has modern facilities and infrastructure for students.

National Rail and Transportation Institute will now accept CUET scores for several UG admission from the academic session 2024. Some of the important dates related to the same are given below

NRTI Admission

NRTI Admission 2024 is ongoing. All courses other than B.Tech are admitted based on NRTI Admission Aptitude Test. JEE Main scores are accepted for Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) admission. Candidates with valid scores in CAT/MAT/XAT are exempted from the entrance exam conducted by the college. 

For PG course admission, candidates must also appear for a personal interview. In addition, the college application form can be filled out by visiting the National Rail and Transportation Institute admission portal. 

NRTI Eligibility Criteria

NRTI offers numerous courses, each of which has different eligibility criteria. A list of a few courses offered by the university with their eligibility criteria is given below.

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must pass a 10+2 examination from a state or central-recognized board.
• Candidates must have a valid JEE Main score.

MBA Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have a degree from a recognised university in the relevant discipline.
• Candidates must have valid CAT/MAT/XAT scores.

PGDM Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have at least 55% marks in an undergraduate degree with Mathematics/Statistics as a subject (50% for SC/ST/OBC)

NRTI Result

NRTI result 2022 is released for various UG and PG courses. It publishes the result online on the official website. After the NRTI result declaration, the student can check their result directly on the NRTI official website without logging in to the result portal.

NRTI Career Development Cell (CDC) endeavours to bring in a broad spectrum of placement opportunities to meet its students' diverse requirements and aspirations. It provides a platform for its students to get familiarized with the complexities of the corporate job and know how to manage them. At the same time, it opens up avenues for employers to come and interact with the NRTI students to foster relationships and thus facilitate the campus recruitment of the students.
