Hostel

• Postgraduate students can access separate hostel facilities for boys and girls at the university.
• Nirma University has three hostel buildings, two for boys and one for girls.
• The Nirma University hostel accommodates a total of 800 students.
• The Nirma University hostel rooms are well-ventilated.
• Nirma University hostel facilities include sports and other recreational facilities, such as cable TV and a common space for interaction.

Library

• Nirma University library system comprises five units, i.e., Technology Library, Management – Commerce Library, Pharmacy Science Library, Law Library, and Architecture.
• Nirma University Library System uses Open Source software DSpace version 6.3 to build and update the institutional repository, which houses the faculty publications, PhD theses, institute program videos, convocation speeches, etc.
• It houses 1,26,276 books, 60,168 e-books, 21 online databases, 19,730 online periodicals, 718 newspapers and magazines, 6,618 electronic media, 2,091 Indian standards, and ten offline databases. 
• The campus local area network (LAN) provides access to the fully automated library, which runs on open-source KOHA software designed for libraries. 
• The easy-to-use package makes issuing and returning books easier, accessing the catalogue online, and making book reservations. 
• The Nirma University library houses ICT tools for optimal use of library services, including CDs, DVDs, multimedia kits, barcode scanners, and text and graphic scanners.
• It has subscribed to databases like EBSCOhost, Business Source Complete, Academic Search Elite, JSTOR, Elsevier Science Direct: Business Management & Accounting Package, Emerald Management 150, and Oxford e-bundle. 
• The Nirma University library also subscribes to the socioeconomic database Indiastat.com.

Auditorium

• Nirma University infrastructure features various auditoriums and conference halls available for conferences, seminars, and student activities on the campus premises.
• The Institute of Architecture has a 350-seat auditorium, the Institute of Pharmacy has a 200-seat auditorium, the Institute of Technology has two 100- and 200-seat auditoriums, and the Institute of Law has a 200-seat auditorium.

Book Bank Facility

• Nirma University campus has a book bank facility available to 10% of each class's total students based on their parent's income, with a limit of Rs. 6 lahks each year.

Transportation

• The Nirma University facility includes a transportation facility that operates a fleet of twenty buses that serve practically every part of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.
• These buses go through the city on 20 distinct routes. Students, instructors, and staff members can use the transportation service.
• In addition, faculty members have access to seven Sumos and twelve vehicles for travel around the Nirma University campus or official work.
• It maintains an ambulance to respond to any medical emergencies on campus.
• It also owns a tractor, which it uses to transport goods and rubbish from one location to another.

Health Care Centre

• Members can reach doctors via phone during emergencies.

Banks

• The Nirma University campus has a Kalupur Commercial Co-operative Bank Limited (KCCBL).
• The bank has set up two ATMs on campus, one in the K block and the other near the food court.
• The hours of operation are 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
• All students, staff, and professors can use the bank and atm facility.

Canteen

• The Nirma University infrastructure features a canteen for students, staff, and faculty. 
• In addition to serving breakfast, lunch, high tea, snacks, and beverages, the Nirma University canteen also provides food for other campus events.

Theatre

• Nirma University infrastructure offers a theatre with a total seating capacity of 450 people and is 4873.76 square feet in size.
• It offers a lovely seating arrangement and unimpeded visibility.
• The in-room sound system reproduces music clean and undistorted across the space.
• Backstage, there is a green room with all of the necessary amenities for the show.

Computing Facility

• Nirma University infrastructure includes three web servers and databases for the library, a LAN and Wi-Fi authentication server, a CISCO WEBEX server, a Moodle LMS server, an Internet log/report server, a firewall/proxy server, and more than 250 laptops and computer systems. 
• Other peripherals include DVD/CD readers/writers, digital scanners, fingerprint scanners, laser printers, multimedia, UPS, etc. 
• It is linked to a 1.5 Gbps fibre optic leased line for internet access. Students can access the internet and intranet 24/7 via LAN and Wi-Fi in the hostel rooms.
