CEPT University was set up in 1962. The University takes its name from the 'Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology. CEPT and the numerous schools that it contains were set up by the Ahmedabad Education Society with the help of the Government of Gujarat and the Government of India. Multiple Centers of Excellence had been set up that adopt research-based tasks in these regions of study.

CEPT University Admission

The admission procedure is performed online via the website of the University. Admission to all of the programs is either entrance or merit based. Candidates, who meet the given eligibility criteria, can apply online for a particular program. Given below are the information concerning CEPT University admissions: 

• B.Arch and Bachelor's in Interior Design admissions are primarily based on NATA scores, whilst Bachelor's in Construction Technology admissions are primarily based on JEE Main scores. 
• The University conducts a CEPT Aptitude Test for admission to Bachelors in Urban Design. 
• A valid score in UCEED is needed for admission to the B.Des program.
• Admission to all PG programs is carried out on a merit basis.
• Admission to the MPhil/Ph.D. program is primarily based on GATE/ GRE scores, accompanied by a Personal Interview (PI).

Eligibility Criteria-

• The candidate should have completed HSC with at least 50% aggregate marks with PCM as subjects.
• The candidate must have a valid NATA score.

CEPT University M.Des Eligibility

Master of Design(M.Des) is a two-year PG course. The degree is the gateway to specialize and research as it is an advanced degree to overcome the Fashion and Design Industry in different disciplines including Craft, Media, Lifestyle Products, etc.

Eligibility Criteria-

• The candidate should have a bachelor’s in architecture with at least 50% aggregate marks in the relevant discipline.

CEPT University Hostel Details

CEPT University provides hostel facilities to college students. There are 3 hostels present at the campus, one hostel is for girls and two hostels are for boys.
