Physical Infrastructure :

The Ponkaliamman College of Education has its main sprawling campus with an area of 1 acre in the NH-7 road via Karur to Salem.

Class Room
The college has sufficient number of spacious, airy and comfortable class rooms for the students.

Seminar Hall
Seminar halls are optimally used for conducting Seminars, Association meetings, Workshops, Cultural programs etc.

Auditorium
The college auditorium is common for all the activities taking place inside the campus .The seating capacity is 500.

Library:
Library is well equipped with good collection of books on education, journals, periodicals, weeklies and dailies. The library has computerized catalogue and the Library is maintained by a qualified librarian.

Computer Centre:

The college maintains the campus wide Network and the faculty and students are provided with Broadband Internet Connectivity.

Students Service Centre:
The College has Students Service Centre with a Grievance Redressal Cell, Rural women welfare and placement cell. The college is providing special concessions and facilities introduced recently to increase access to Higher Education and to encourage employees to improve their Qualification.

Sports Ground:
A fit mind is an active mind.  With its expansive play ground, state of the art gymnasium, and the yoga instructor, the college encourages students to participate in various sports and recreational activities, apart from their regular academic Schedules.

Dining Hall
The institution has a spacious dining hall for the students with good water facility and seating arrangement.

Canteen
          The College has a good canteen with variety of snacks.  Variety rice and meals are also provided to the students for lunch at reasonable cost.

Stationery
The College provides good stationery facilities to the students.  In that photocopying facility is provided to the students at any time.

Vehicle Parking Provision
A well protected shed is constructed to park the vehicles of the staff and students ensuring safety from rain, sun and manhandling.

Solar Energy
The college is supplied with electricity from solar heat converting system and around the clock power supply without any interruption is enabled.

Transport and Water:
We have a reliable bus facility from all the areas around the institution.
We have protected drinking water facility for 24 hours.

Educational Technology Lab
Individual differences among the learners are widely present in the classrooms. So it has become imperative to employ different strategies to cater to individual differences and also it is an increasing demand among teachers. To fulfill this, a well equipped Educational Technology lab has been established in order to make our Teacher Trainees to be aware of the technological devices that have been used in the teaching- learning process and to train them in handling those devices, which enables them to overcome the educational challenges at all levels.

Science Laboratory
Active participation of Students is possible only through Learning by doing. Subject like Science paves the way by doing Practical Work. Our College Science Laboratory has a good collection of working as well as static models, equipments and apparatus.

Computer Lab
The college has well equipped network computer lab. The computers are loaded with latest software application including MS-Word, MS- Power point and MS-Excel etc., The configuration of system is 1GB RAM, 250 GB hard driver, DVD driver, Monitor 15 to 17 inch and Intel Pentium dual. There is free internet connectivity, all through the working hours and it is a boon to our students.

Language Laboratory
It is a great privilege for our students to practice correct pronunciation to develop intonation and accent through Language Lab which is nothing but a self- learning device to enable the students to speak fluently in English.

Psychology Lab
Psychology lab is an integral part of faculty of education as the knowledge of psychology is essential for the prospective teachers. The main objective of this laboratory for B.Ed. is to acquaint the students with various tests, to develop necessary skills in them for administration and interpretation of test, so that they can know about the  learners and they can help in the development of balanced personality of the learner.
