Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

• Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC. 
• Candidate must have studied English, Physics, Mathematics along with any vocational subject.
• Candidates from General Category must have secured minimum total 50 % marks
• Minimum total 45% aggregate is required for reserved candidates.
• Candidate must have obtained a non-zero score in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in JEE.

Eligibility Criteria for MCA

• Candidate should be an Indian National.
• Candidates should have passed Graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks from any recognized university in India.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech

• Candidate should be an Indian National.
• Candidate should possess a Bachelors degree or equivalent in the relevant field of Engineering/Technology.
• Candidates from General Category must have secured minimum total 50 % marks
• Minimum total 45% aggregate is required for reserved candidates.
• Candidate must clear Common Entrance Test (CET).

• Application Process is completely online.
• Go to PIET Official Website.
• Select "Admission Form under Admissions Page.
• Fill all the fields in the online form carefully.
• Tick on the "I agree"" box for declaration.
• Click on "Submit".
• Data cannot be edited once the form has been completed.
• The page will be now directed to the payment page.
• Pay the admission fees according to your category. 
• Payment can be done through Cerdit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
• Once the payment is complete, take a printout of the final confirmation page.

Admission Process for B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech

• Admission will be done through CAP - Centralised Admission Process
• Note: College application is different from CAP Application. 
• Register online for CAP 
• Uploading of Documents and verify your Documents at Facilitation Centers.
• Submit your options for colleges and branches.
• Provide your options (refer below) for first round at ARC - Admission Reporting Centre.
• Finally report to the college along with allotment letter, balanced college fees, and required documents.

Options for Candidate during ARC

• The candidate has 3 options: Freeze/Slide/Float.
• Freeze means that the candidate has confirmed the seat
• Slide means that candidate can change the branch in the allotted college in further rounds.
• Float means to the candidate can change the colleges or branches or both in further rounds
