Punjab Engineering College University of Technology, [PEC] Chandigarh spread over 146 acres. PEC ensures the safety of the student as well as looks after their welfare and requirements.

PEC Campus Highlights

PEC is acknowledged for its campus and residential facilities. Some of the highlighting features of the PEC campus are listed below.

• PEC organises different types of seminars, counselling seasons, conferences for the betterment of students.
• Sports competitions in inter or intra college are held on the campus or out of the campus.
• Many motivational speakers and famous personalities are called for the seasons and programmes by the college.
• There are many clubs associated with institutes such as debating, dancing, singing, skating, enactment and many more options are available for students who have interests in different areas.
• Freshers, Convocation, Farewell, Youth festival, Educational Trips and so on are organised by the college.

PEC Campus Facilities

The PEC has a wide range of facilities provided to students. Some of these are mentioned below:

Classrooms: Well organised and furnished classrooms, as well as digital boards, are installed in every class to make sure a student must have a  better learning experience.

Library: Punjab Engineering College has a central library with a collection of 1,15,452 volumes and an active collection of 30,267 books under the Book Bank Scheme to support SC/ST as well as General categories students. The library uses a commercial Library Management Software (LibSys) and also provides intranet access to all its students through Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). Central Library is also having Multimedia Resource Centre (MMRC) to make use of the most popular mode of education i.e. Electronic Media with the help of ICT Technology and it has a collection of 1064 CDs, 143 floppies, 25 DVDs and 581 video cassettes on various disciplines of engineering and technology. The library has also procured and installed NPTEL video and web courses on the LAN of the institute for the benefit of the students

Hostel: Punjab Engineering College has 6 hostels in total - 4 for boys and 2 for girls. All the hostels have Wi-Fi connectivity and other required amenities like water purifiers, recreation rooms, indoor sports, mess, common rooms, TV, laundry facility etc.
