Hostels

Hostel life is an integral part of the campus experiences at RIET. It seeks to create the kind of atmosphere in which students grow and develop both intellectually and socially. It gives our students opportunities to confront issues that are of importance in their lives as also in society, making the hostels much more than a place to eat, sleep and do laundry, a home away from home, a place with which a lot of emotions are attached.

RIET Campus has 2 independent hostels, one each for boys and girls exclusively. The hostel buildings have been designed keeping in mind aesthetics and functionality. These are modern Wi-Fi enabled buildings offering state of the art facilities such as Gymnasium, Common room, Study room, indoor & outdoor games. The hostels are spacious and well maintained. Hygienic food is served in each hostel Mess at reasonable rates. All the Hostellers enjoy extended library and computer center facilities and outdoor sports in the evenings.

Rooms are available on sharing basis (2, 3, 4, 6 students per room). Air cooling facility is available on extra charges.

Common Facilities: In-house Mess and Canteen, Wi-fi, Common Room with TV, Gymnasium & Indoor games.

WI-FI Campus

To provide flexibility & convenient access to network facilities WI-FI network facilities(IEEE802.11b.g) has been provided at various locations in campus.

Library

Central Library occupies a place of pride in Radiant Institute of Engineering & Technology and is an essential component of the institute’s outstanding education mission. It is a most lively place on the campus providing a safe, comfortable and friendly environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge, and promotes discovery and scholarship. The mission of the Central Library is to facilitate creation of new knowledge through acquisition, organization and dissemination of knowledge resources and providing for value added services. Radiant Institute of Engineering & Technology has a well established library which caters to the need of the students, research scholars and the faculty. The library functions on an open access system for the faculty, research scholars and students as it is automated with a wide collection of the latest books, periodicals and CDs..- A combination of online and offline information resources are offered and designed to provide a holistic and comprehensive service. The library offers photocopying facilities also. There is a computer based catalogue system that provides information on the availability of books, journals and other materials.

Transportation

The bus facility is available for commuting the students from Fazika, Malout,Ganganagar and nearby villages to the college and back on daily & monthly basis. In addition, a staff bus & an ambulance are available full time in the campus.
