Rai University, Ahmedabad aims to provide dreams for underprivileged students with great opportunities.  Scholarships at the University are given to worthy and poor students. The scholarships are awarded based on the students' overall academic performance, family income, and other underlined factors. The process of evaluating and awarding the scholarships is detailed and rigorous. The University has a special outreach to deserving students through comprehensive scholarships. The scholarships offer a full waiver of tuition fees through a state-of-the-art platform for a wide variety of on-campus and online degree programs. Mentioned below are the scholarships offered under different schemes.

Covid-19 Frontline Warriors Scholarship

• Honouring the efforts of the frontline warriors, RU has initiated a special scholarship scheme for them and their family members.
• All the frontline warriors be it healthcare personnel, police or armed forces are welcomed for the scholarship scheme.
• They are encouraged to reach out to the University Admission Cell or any University official to avail of the scholarship.

Special Scholarship Scheme for RU Students (SSS 2021)

• The Scholarship Scheme (SSS 2021) is offered to undergraduate students who would like to pursue their dream of higher education in any of the second level degrees at Rai University, Ahmedabad.

Rai University Extended Family Member Scholarship 2021 (RUEFMS-2021)

• Scholarships are awarded for the first year of the program initially.
• The scholarship committee will review the performance of the scholarship student every semester.
• The continuation of the scholarship will depend on students maintaining a CGPA of 8.00 or more in every semester of the program along with 85% or more attendance in which the student has enrolled.
• The scholarship amount will not be paid to the selected student. It will be deducted from the next semester's tuition fees directly.
• In case a scholarship student withdraws from the program, the student has to refund the scholarship amount that Rai University has already disbursed.
• The scholarship committee reviews the scholarships from time to time and reserves the right to change, modify, alter or withdraw any of the provisions and policies.
• If any of the information given by the scholarship applicant is found inaccurate or false at any time during the program, the scholarship award will be withdrawn and the student needs to refund the scholarship amount that Rai University has already disbursed.

Mukhymantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana (MYSY)

Mukhymantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana (MYSY Scholarship) scholarship scheme is offered to the students of economically weaker sections of Gujarat. Students who desire to admit under higher education programs like Engineering, Pharmacy, Medical, etc. can apply for an MYSY scholarship every year. The motto of the MYSY Scholarship Scheme is to help out those students who are not in a position to afford their education fees due to the low income of family members.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should be a domicile of Gujarat State
• The candidate should be enrolled in the first year of the diploma/ degree program.
• The annual family income of the applicant should be less than INR 6,00,000 including all sources of income.
• The applicants who are pursuing a DiplomaLevel/Graduation level program should have obtained a minimum of 80% marks at Class 10, Class 12 level. Students pursuing Diploma to Degree (D2D) programs should have obtained at least 65% marks at the Diploma level.

Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme (CMSS)

Gujarat CM Scholarship Scheme is imparted by the Education Department of Gujarat State Government. Pre-matric and post-matric scholarships are embraced in this scholarship scheme. To carry on with their higher studies, candidates who belong to state economically backward class will be eligible for this scholarship. Students who are from scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, backward classes and other minority categories will receive the CM scholarship from the Government of Gujarat by submitting all the required details with needed documents in the CMS Portal of Gujarat state.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be a permanent resident of Gujarat
• Candidates should have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the 10th and 12th
• Applicant should belong to SC/ ST/ EBC category
• The student should have enrolled in UG or PG courses in Gujarat
• Students pursuing research should have secured a minimum 55% average marks in their academics
• The annual family income of the student should be not more than INR 1 Lakh per annum

• Candidate’s previous class mark sheet.
• Income certificate of the candidate’s family.
• Caste certificate of the student.
• Residence certificate of the candidate.

• School/ college admission certificate of the students.

Education Loans at Rai University, Ahmedabad

Rai University has partnered with FINANCEPEER to make the fee payment easy for the enrolled students. Now they don’t need to bear the financial burden of a fee. Paying fees in EMIs will help the students in reducing the burden of paying at once. The candidates can join the University's exclusive “Education Loan” and pay the entire fee in 6 to 12 easy instalments at nominal interest.
