Rani Channamma University was established in the year 2010 by the Government of Karnataka. RCUB being a very young University; it is the largest University in the state engulfing the jurisdictions of Belagavi, Vijayapura, and Bagalkot districts with a distinct academic profile, blending in itself commitment to rural ethos and a modern spirit, and catering especially to the students of North Karnataka, the university has three Post-Graduate Centres, ‘Vachana Sangama’at Vijayapura, ‘Anubhava Sangama’ at Bagalkote. The university runs with an objective to contribute to the knowledge society through research, publications, and applications, and to promote popular awareness for strengthening the civil society. Rani Channamma University Admission 2024

The university is now open for various courses at UG, and PG level. Rani Channamma University is offering 21 Post Graduate (PG) and Ph. D., programs in the faculties of Arts, Science, Education, Social Science, Commerce and Management, Journalism. At present, there are more than 1500 students studying in the various PG Departments, more than 130 students have been awarded Ph.D. degrees in the last five years.

Candidates must have a relevant UG degree from a recognized university to become eligible. The other criteria are mentioned in the table below

MA	Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree in specified subject (2-year programme) with qualifiable marks/CPI to become eligible The specified minimum marks/CPI (Cumulative Performance Index), referred to in subsequent sections, implies a minimum of 45 percent marks /4.5 (on a 10 point scale) as long as it is not less than the minimum pass marks/CPI; otherwise, the specified minimum marks/CPI implies the minimum pass marks/CPI

Entrance Exams & Admissions : College is good. No admission criteria or exams for admission.

Placements & Internships : I have done Internship in Belagavi with no stipend. Limited companies come for hiring. Only local companies come for the placement. Highest salary that was paid per year was for my senior who got placed in a marketing department and CTC was INR 2.4 lakh per annum.

Fees & Scholarships : College fee is INR 34,000 per year for BBA. The scholarship is not available.

Academics & Faculty : College starts at 10:00 am and ends at 5:00 pm. Quality of teaching is good but it is limited to some teachers. Good college but cannot expect more.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The hostel is separate for boys and girls and fees are low as INR 9,000 per semester. PGs are good but little expensive. Food at college starts from INR 20 and it's of good quality. Overall quality of classrooms and labs etc is good but need to update on boards.

Clubs & Associations : There is students society available on the campus. All the festivals are celebrated with joy. College life, in general, is good.
