Saurashtra University has a well-established Training and Placement Cell. The goal of the Saurashtra University Training and Placement Cell is to provide students with a platform for using their potential to gain valuable experience, by working in an organization. The cell is responsible for arranging internships, job fairs and recruitment drives for the students. It also acts as an interface between the university and various organizations seeking talented candidates. The SU placement cell regularly arranges Resume Evaluation Process and grooming sessions for the final semester students of the various departments. It also organises various training and learning sessions to help students ace their selection process, aptitude tests, GD and PI.

Saurashtra University Internships

As a part of their academic curriculum, students at SU have to undergo a summer training or internship at an organisation of their choice during their even semester break, and also submit a project report after the training period. The internship is for a duration of 6 to 8 weeks during the summer break, with or without stipend. After the 45 days internship program, the project reports of summer internship activity has to be submitted by the students to their respective department heads.
