Shahzada Nand College Placement Details

The cell has received grant from UGC under merged scheme during 11th plan. Two computers, a coloured photocopier and books have been purchased from the grant. Every year throughout the session the students are made aware of the job scenario by arranging lectures from eminent resource persons and by arranging workshops for students.

In the year 2011-12 according to data available more than fifty students of our college are ‘Earning while learning’. The cell motivates them to be financially independent.

 The following events were organised in the year 2011-2012:

1. Workshop on Interview Skill by Frankfinn on 26.08.2011.

2. "Cut the Knot" Talent Search Examination in collaboration with T.I.M.E., 9.11.2011.

3. lecture on "Communication Skills" by career launcher on 22.11.2011.

4. Workshop on " Preparation for Entrance Exams." by Appin Group ON 21st Dec. to 30th Dec, 2011.

5. Seminar on "Job Opportunities in Retail Sector" in collaboration with Bharti Wall Mart on 18th Jan. 2012

6. Joint Campus placement by Wipro Technologies held at ACET on 19th Jan,2012. Aradhana BCA III selected for job.

7.Aspiring Minds conducted online tests on 19th Jan,2012 for GENPACT, 13 students selected.

8. I PROF, Super Student Challenge on 16th Feb., 2012, 24 students qualified and were awarded gift vouchers.

 9. Ten days workshop organised on Tally to improve in skill of students in Accounts.
