Sharda University believes that money should not be a roadblock for a student and the Right to Education is one of the fundamental rights of every Indian citizen. The University extends scholarships and financial assistance to meritorious students based on their academic achievements. A number of scholarships are offered to students depending on their academic credentials and their achievements in the sporting and cultural arena. The University grants full and partial waivers on tuition fees payable by the student. Different scholarships that are given by the university are given below.

Merit-based Academic Scholarship

The students on their satisfactory performance in Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT), Personal Interview (PI), and depending on their merit in qualifying exams, are eligible for the merit-based academic scholarships.

Sports Category Scholarship

The students who have excelled in sporting activities at the National & State levels will be eligible for Sports Scholarship from 10% to 100% on tuition fees in 1st year. For updated & detailed information on the nature of Sports and the Eligibility criteria, one has to visit the University campus.

CRPF Scholarship

5% Scholarship for Children of Military / ParaMilitary / Govt. Security Forces, Serving & Retd. Defense Personnel on tuition fee of 1st year in all courses except Medical, Dental, Nursing & Pharmacy.

Sibling Scholarship

Fee waiver of 5% in 1st year for students whose sibling is pursuing education at the university. Proof of relationship is required to be submitted. 

Staff Scholarship

Children of faculties and staff of the University get this scholarship where the Tuition Fee is waived as per University guidelines.

Innovative Idea Scholarship

The committee for innovation selects certain ideas and then the students who have come up with the idea get a scholarship from 10% to 100%.

Art and Culture Scholarship

Students with exemplary performance in classes 11 and 12 get from 5% to 20% scholarship under this.
