School of Dental Sciences offers an undergraduate program in dental surgery. It is a five-year program with the aim of equipping its students with advanced knowledge of dental science. The program offers insights into the classification of different surgical procedures using medical techniques. The course consists of 4 years of training with 1 year of compulsory internship. The annual intake, as mandated by the Dental Council of India, is 100 students.
Admission to the undergraduate dental surgery course is done through NEET and allotted through UPDGME- UP Directorate of Medical Education and Training. All applicants are required to give the entrance exam conducted by the university. Candidates should have passed their 12th standard examination in the science stream with PCMB combination with a minimum 50% aggregate marks. Applicants under reservation are allowed a relaxation of 10% in their aggregate. The applicant must be of 17 years of age at the time of admission or before the end of the calendar year.

School of Dental Sciences offers the doctoral program in dental sciences as its flagship program. It is aimed to create serious researchers and high-level academicians in various sub-fields of Dental Sciences and at the interface with other branches of study. The duration of the Ph.D. program is at least 3 years and a maximum of 6 years. There are six different specializations with an intake of one student per specialization annually.

Admission to the Doctoral program in dental sciences is done on the basis of the entrance exam conducted by the university. The entrance examination covers all specializations in dentistry, as well as research aptitude. Following the entrance exam, a personal interview will be conducted by a panel consisting of faculty from the School of Dental Sciences. All applicants are required to have cleared their postgraduate degrees in their specialization with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. Applicants under reservation are offered a relaxation of 5% in their aggregate marks.
