Infrastructure & Facilities

Academic Block

The academic block with lush green second floor is broken up into lecture theatres, faculty rooms, computer lab, breakout spaces and a conference room. These floors are planned to encourage interactions, exchange of ideas and brainstorming sessions.

Modern teaching aids involve tools like multi-media notebooks, LCD and over-head projectors, speakers, Wi-Fi access etc. They are effectively employed to make the learning process more interesting and interactive.

Library

SIBM Management has well stocked fully automated library. It has established library which includes International and national journals, books, reference sources, databases of projects and other magazines & resources etc. Wi-Fi enabled, Library comprises of Student Zone that can be used to study or read newspapers and magazines.

IT Infrastructure

Wi-Fi enabled, all areas of the campus enjoy the internet irrespective of where you are – in your hostel or in the academic block, doing research in the library or sitting in the Computer Lab, which is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and is available 24 hours six days a week. On Sundays, the Computer Centre is open till 5.30 pm. Students run several of the Internet sites that provide access to software and study aids. These are apart from the sites run by the IT dept.

• Computer Labs are kept open upto 10 P.M. even after the college working hours.

• BSNL Leased Line with 10 MBPS for Internet.

Hostel, Mess & Cafeteria

Separate hostels in the campus are organized for boys & girls. Rooms are spacious, well furnished, lighted, well ventilated with attached toilets, bathrooms & dressing room with facility of geysers and water coolers. The Institute has a common mess for boys & girls serving well balanced nutrious food to the students at regular meal times. The canteen fulfills the need of students, staff & visitor at subsidized rates.

Students can opt for rooms that offer single or double occupancy. Facilities include Wi-Fi access, laundry service and cleaning facility. The mess, next to student residences is open every day and provides four meals. Those who get hungry in between can avail of the eats and drinks available at reasonable rates in the cafeteria which is open seven days a week.

Recreation Centre

Never starved for things to do, those in a sporting mood or the serious outdoor types can avail of the various recreational facilities. Outdoor sports include the Cricket game of which entire India is obsessed . Other outdoor games you can play on campus are Football, Volleyball, Badminton and Basketball.

Those who prefer getting their recreation in controlled indoor environs can indulge in games like table tennis, carrom and chess. The campus also has a well equipped gymnasium with modern machines keeping you physically fit.

The unique feature of the institute is regularly organizing Assembly in the morning consist of prayer to induce spirituality among students, followed by presentation.

Communication Lab

The main objective of the lab is to develop all round personality of the students, particularly the quality of leadership, team building, dynamism, communication skills for real life situation.

This lab has been facilitating number of Hindi speaking students to develop their communication skills in pronunciation, tone, rhythm, art of presentation in English.

The lab also helps the student to prepare for competitive exams like CAT, MAT, CMAT etc. The Language Lab of the Department also organizes debates, group discussions, seminars etc.
