Infrastructure

Students at SJMIT enjoy appropriate modern facilities, including Wi-Fi, smart boards and well equipped laboratories. This allows us to help you become an independent, lifelong learner as well as allowing for a variety of teaching and learning methodologies in the classroom and off-campus.

The clean, green, healthy, secured, disciplined and homely campus provides platform for student’s career development along with homely and friendly atmosphere to acquire his/her higher education.

Facilities 

Hostel Accommodation

There are two boys hostel blocks to accommodate about 600 boy’s students Boys hostel is located at a distance of 0.25km only. Clean, hygienic, delicious pure vegetarian food is served in the hostels. The mess bills are quite affordable and dividing system is adopted. All the disciplinary measures and arrangements for an undisturbed study are made to carry out their studies in a friendly and secured environment.

Laboratories

All the branches are having the required laboratories/workshops with sophisticated equipments. Expert teaching and non teaching staff to train the students to professional level. Further there are facilities in the labs to do researches, project works, R & D works, consultancy work to induct confidence and improve a student to learn and understand practical reactivity of the subjects.

Library

There is a collection of more than 47000 books. It also subscribes to many national and international journals.

Digital library with huge stack of collection of books including National and International journals cater the academic, research and development needs of the students and faculty. Central computer center enriches the students to browse several reading and research materials round the clock.

Recreation Centre

The college boasts many areas for students to enjoy their free time, including multi-cuisine canteen, coffee longue, juice parlor, bakery, students recreation center, students activity center, and department clubs. These facilities and learning hubs offer a unique chance for students to share ideas over a cup of coffee.

In addition to these various facilities on board, the campus includes independent hostels for boys and girls, indoor and outdoor sports, sophisticated gymnasium, student activities center, cricket stadium, reading room, cafeteria, juice parlor, provisional stores, dispensary and several other amenities catering the needs of the students.
