Eligibility Criteria for Distance M.Sc:

  • Candidates must obtain a Bachelor's Degree in B.A. / B.Sc. Degree from a recognised University to be eligible to apply for this course.
  • Candidates must pursue Mathematics as one of the optional subjects.
  • Candidates must secure 50% in Mathematics.
  • Candidates who have studied Mathematics as an ancillary subject are not eligible.

Application Process at SPMVV - Distance Education:

Application Process for Distance M.Sc:

  • The eligible candidate should fill the Application form online on the APICET website.
  • They should then click on the “Apply Online” tab.
  • The eligible candidate will be required to register using their email id & password.
  • The eligible candidate will have to fill in personal, qualification, contact details in the form.
  • The eligible candidate should also upload their scanned passport sized colour photograph and signature in the form during the admission process.
  • The eligible candidate should then review the application form carefully and submit the same by clicking on the “Submit” tab to complete the application process for admission.
  • Next, the “Registration Fee Payment Procedure” Web Page will appear on the screen. You should now make the payment of application fee using available payment modes.

Admission Process at SPMVV - Distance Education:

Admission Process for Distance M.Sc:

  • The eligible candidate will be selected for admission on the basis of Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET) conducted by Andhra University.
  • The test is an objective type test and the questions are of multiple choice type carrying a maximum of 200 marks.
  • The test consists of 200 questions of which one mark is awarded for every correct answer.
  • The test goes on for a duration of 2 and a half hours.
  • It consists of three sections. Section A comprises of Analytical Ability and Section B consists of Mathematical Ability with 75 questions each. Section-C is on Communication Ability carrying 50 questions.
  • The exam is designed so as to measure the eligible candidate's ability to think systematically, to use the verbal and mathematical skills and to assess their aptitude for admission into MBA/MCA programme.
  • The Model paper is also available on the website.
