Library

The College library is sufficiently spacious with an overall carpet area of 500Sq.m.The library is kept open from 9.00AM to 4.30PM on all working days. The college library has a good collection of 7172 books with 2342 titles plus National and International Journals covering every departmental requirement. The library entries and issues are carried out by bar code technology and well equipped with modern facilities. The library hall is well ventilated, lighted and provided with internet facility. The study hall is fully furnished with facilities to study and for preparing notes. The resources are upgraded every year and subscriptions are renewed for journals of National and International. Reading materials have been shelved very conveniently for easy reference. Library staff member is always available to help students and staff. Materials are issued on a fortnightly basis to students and on a semester basis to faculty and staff. Daily News papers are also available for reading.

Transport

Sufficient transport facilities are available to cover adjoining rural areas and nearby towns to facilitate the staff and students to have easy access from home to college and back. This institute is located at the outskirts of Pudukkottai, about 6 kilometers from Pudukkottai and almost at a rural atmosphere. The students coming to this institute find very difficult to travel by public transport since they are always overcrowded and the travel gives much physical strain to the students. Keeping in view of this, the college administration has made elaborate arrangements for running the busses owned by the management to cover the students from the remote rural areas also. The busses are plying to and fro to Pudukkottai, Arimalam, Alangudi, Aranthangi, Avudayar koil, Silatur, Peravurani, Nagudi and other peripheral rural areas.

Hostel

Sri Bharathi Engineering College for Women is provided with hostel facility for girls in the view of providing a secure atmosphere to girls. The hostel is located inside the campus. It has got good facilities and infrastructure which make students feel comfortable and find a homely atmosphere. Being away from the city pollutions, the hostel is in a calm atmosphere.
Detailed thought and consideration has gone in to provide utmost comfort to the students with more personal space provided in an ideal location. The students of all programmes live together in the hostels which help in developing a healthy and cordial relationship among them. Ragging is strictly prohibited in the campus.
Every student should have the right kind of nourishment. It is a vital important part of any education system that is usually overlooked. A week regimen can make a student fatigued and tired and the wrong food can lead to excessive fat and set lethargy. The college administration takes special care to see that all students get a diet that is prescribed to keep them fit and to study better.
