Infrastructure :-

Sridevi Women’s Engineering College provides perfect academic environment and latest learning resources to help the students make the most of their career goals. Upto 2003 , the college comprised of engineering departments –CSE, ECE, EEE. Thereafter college expanded and new departments-- Information Technology and EIE were added gradually. PG programmes MBA and MCA were added subsequently. Recently M.Tech courses-----Embedded systems and CSE were added. Plans are to start M.Tech courses in VLSI and Power systems. To provide the foundation and enable the students to fulfil their aspirations to become competent Engineering professionals, college is equipped with excellent infrastructure. Campus is spread over 25 acres with impressive facilities provided in the UG and PG blocks.

Library

Central Library  occupies a place of pride in SWEC and is an essential component of the institute’s outstanding education mission. It is a most lively place on the campus providing a safe, comfortable and friendly environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge and promotes discovery and scholarship. The mission of the Central Library is to facilitate creation of new knowledge through acquisition, organization and dissemination of knowledge resources and providing for value added services. All students, faculty members and employees of the Institute are permitted to make use of library facilities. The library has a huge collection of books on Engineering, Management, Science and Humanities offers library services through its various divisions. Central Library with a carpet area of 1500 Sq.m. with Digital facility is functioning from 9:20 AM to 4 PM on all working days.

Amphi Theatre

In keeping with world-class standards across all infrastructures built by the college Management, the SWEC Amphi Theatre, primarily caters to the needs of the institution for conducting National and International conferences .It has a total built-up area of 5346 sq.ft. and can accommodate about 1500 persons It has a stage with a green room on a side. Special lighting and a sound system has been provided.Plans are to provide centralised air conditioning.

Open air auditorium

The campus has a huge open air auditorium where cultural events, annual days, meetings, inter-college events are held. The auditorium has an overall seating capacity of about 3000.

Conference Hall

Sridevi Women’s Engineering College aims to provide its students exposure to national and international knowledge experts through regular national and international conferences / symposia and workshops hosted on campus. It is with this view that a wide choice of modern conference facilities  have been meticulously planned and incorporated into the SWEC campus.

Canteen

SWECThe college canteen is blessed with family atmosphere, with a variety of delicacies, touched by a home made flavour, cooked to perfection and served with a great courtesy.
