Classrooms

Spacious and well-ventilated classrooms with modern teaching and training aids are created for providing a congenial atmosphere for learning. They are set up with multimedia aids to conduct interactive sessions. Facilities are in place for conducting on-line classes and tests. Parents are going to be networked to the campus for monitoring the academic progress and performance of their wards.

Library

The SJCIT Library is an Important Learning Resource Center with Open Access system encouraging the user to browse freely in the stock area. The library is housed in a spacious block . As on date the center has 52344(as on date 15-01-2009) volumes of books, Periodicals magazines, over 33 International Journals and 127 National Journals. The library comprises of reference section, Periodical section, stock area, Internet & Digital library, Audio-Visual Facility.Library also has collection of workbooks, newspapers, and question papers of previous years and syllabus of all the branches. The library provides the information and reference in the academic programs also to current technology and innovations in different fields. There are also a vast array of materials that provides insights and information to enhance overall development and personality.

Canteen

The most modern institutional canteen set up by SJCIT inside the Campus, which provides a wide range of hygienically prepared nourishing South Indian and North Indian Snacks and Buffet for students, faculty and staff at affordable rates

Cultural

Students and faculty are also encouraged to form informal teams and groups through formation of Music Club, Literary Club, Academic Society, Arts and Dramatics Society. Multifarious events are organized throughout the year to showcase the talents of individuals, build skills in event management and develop leadership and interpersonal skills.

Transport

The institution has its own fleet of 24 luxurious coaches operating to & from Chickballapur, Bangalore, Kolar and Chintamani. The facility is extended to Students and Staff at very nominal rates. Plans are also on the anvil to provide city shuttle services to students and staff who are required to work extended hours at Laboratories, Workshops, Library and Computer Center.

Hostels

Wardens on duty ensure smooth administration and discipline by adopting proactive, preventive measures against ragging, eve teasing, gambling smoking, alcoholism etc., A co–located Medicare center caters for treating common ailments of boarders.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are two seperate hostel for boys and girls with capacity of 600 students each. Digital classrooms are facilitated for the betterment of the students.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Wonderful experience up to date, Teachers are so kind. Nothing to worry about the education

Placements & Internships : There are a lot of internship opportunities and also it is easy to avail the internship. Placement is good for all the branches. The average package provided is about 3.5 to 4 lakhs pre annum.

Fees & Scholarships : Sri Jagadguru Chandrashekaranatha Swamiji Institute of Technology, [SJCIT] Chickballapur Management Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 1 lakh per annum for students who took admission after writing PGCET. There is scholarship for BCM, SC, and ST students.

Academics & Faculty : Quality of the education is good. Internal marks are allocated on the basis of performance in the given assignments.

Clubs & Associations : Technical fests are conducted by each branches and also there is a main event named as Sambram. There are many other activities encouraged such as ethnic day, graduation day and so on.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : 2 separate hostels for Girls and Boys. It cost INR 50,0000 per student per year. Food is average in the hostel. They didn't provide Wi-Fi connections always. They always protected with passwords.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility for admission in SJCIT is by Rankings in CET Karnataka, COMEDK-K exam, and management quota. I took CET Karnataka exam. The typical cutoffs of SJCIT college is around 25000 Cat rankings.

Placements & Internships : Key Companies are TCS, Amazon, Tech Mahindra and other. Average salary by companies is around INR 3 lakhs per annum.

Fees & Scholarships : I m from CET so my fee is around INR 33,000 government fee and college extra fee is around INR 30,000. Most students get scholarships ( Karnataka students).

Academics & Faculty : Teaching is Good. The class will commence at 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with 50 minutes of lunch break.

Clubs & Associations : We have club name pravega. Main festivals on campus are Sambrama college feat, Ethnic day, branch fest ( every branch as separate fest and called by different names).

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are two hostels in this college and I don't know about the hostel fee. Quality of food is good in this college. Infrastructure is good.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The student must pass the 12th grade with the good percentage and KCET is the entrance exam to get the admission in this college.

Placements & Internships : I have not done any internship. Placements are good at this college with good salary package. Alumni network is good.

Academics & Faculty : The daily routine is good. Quality and method of teaching are good. Overal experience is good.
