Library

Mission of the library is to support educational programmes of the Institute by providing physical and intellectual access to information, consistent with the present and the anticipated educational function of the Institute. In accordance with the objectives of the institute, the library aims to develop a comprehensive collection of documents useful for the faculty and students community of the Institute and thereby serves as a resource center for the students and the faculty of the Institute. The collection of the library includes Books, Journals, Reports, Back Volumes, Projects and Online Journals, which is regarded as the richest collection in the field of Engineering.

The College Library is a repository of excellent text and reference books on various disciplines of Under Graduate Engineering Programme and Post Graduate Engineering Programme such as ME (CAD), ME (ED), ME (PS), ME (EMB), ME (A.E), ME (CSE), MBA and MCA., offered by the Institute. The number of specialized engineering books including Science and Humanities and other inter-disciplinary subjects are 45,072 and more than 167 Journals are subscribes and ON LINE Journals IEEE, ASME and ESDU subscribed from AICTE- INDEST CONSORTIUM.

The Library is housed in a spacious building constructed on modern and functional lines. The Library has an area of 990 sq.m. Seating arrangement is designed in order to accommodate 130 readers at a time.

Hostels

• The college offers a very comfortable living accommodation with separate hostels for boys and girls within the campus under the care of resident wardens. There is one hostel for boys and one for girls with enough space to accommodate the out station students.
• The college has separate hostel facilities for men and women with all amenities. Utmost care is taken to serve wholesome food. Adequate security arrangements have been provided for safety and security of the inmates.
• The women's hostel houses around 100 women. It has an independent kitchen, mess, health equipments, common room with Telephone facilities.
• The Men's hostel accommodates up to 400men with a separate mess, common room etc. Considerable stress is laid on a clean and healthy environment.

Medical Centre

A medical inspection room is available with 5 beds in the campus for the students with a resident doctor and a visiting doctor and staff nurses. When necessary, the members are referred and treated at Meenakshi Medical Hospital at Maduravoil, who are retainers for the college.

Canteen

There is a canteen for the benefit of students, staff and visitors, provide food at subsidised rate. Apart from this, a fast food center, which is a part of the canteen. Canteen working Hours 6.30am To 5.00pm. A STD/PCO center is also attached to the canteen and Hostel.
