Library

Annai Annammal Library, St. Anne’s College of Engineering and Technology, housed in a separate building located at the western side in the main campus. The total area of the Library building is about 400 sq. m. It has a seating capacity of 96. Our Library is equipped with a rich collection of books pertaining to various disciplines for issue and reference. Our Library has 9559 volumes of books consisting of 3448 titles, 102 back volumes of journals, 446 non- book materials, and 30 project works. All the books are arranged department wise in alphabetical order. In addition to which we have subscribed 32 international and national periodicals for regular reading. Online journals and magazines are also subscribed and the library members are allowed to have online reference. The library is computerized with bar coding facility to expedite work for the benefit of users.

Sports

Students are encouraged to engage in physical education and for the overall development of personality. They are encouraged to participate in inter college competitions and also offer themselves for selection to the University team. The Cricket and Football grounds and the indoor sporting faculties are provided. An annual Sports day will be conducted and prizes will be awarded to teams and individuals who prove their mettle. As Part of its SACET emphasizes the importance of Sports and Games and considers it an integral part of the student experience. The college has facilities for indoor games like Table Tennis, Carom and Chess. Also it has facilities for playing Foot Ball, Volly Ball, Ball Badminton, Shuttle Badminton and Tennikoit.

Transport

The college has a fleet of 12 buses to transport students and staff from various parts of the city and its neighborhood areas to the college and back home Transport facility will be arranged to every student. Every student is expected to avail the transport facility to enable him/her to be punctual to come to the college.

Besides the regular scheduled trips, the facility is extended for occasions like after the college hour Special Coaching classes, Placements and Training, Visit to Local Industries, hospitals, NSS Camps, etc.

Internet Cafe

This centre, the most frequently used in the College, has 120 Nodes & 2 High End Servers.

The 120 HP Nodes with configuration of Intel Core 2 Duo Processor @2.39 GHz, 667 MHz, 160 GB Sata HDD, 1 GB RAM, DVD ROM DRIVE, 17" TFT MONITOR.

Internet lab with dedicated server, 60 nodes and dedicates 1Mbps broadband RF connectivity to provide the necessary links, caters to the need of the students.

ANNE'S CAFE

The multi-cuisine cafeteria of the college is a two-storied building which kindles the taste sense and caters to the hunger needs of Guests, Inmates, Visitors, Staff & Students. It can accommodate 400 members to dine at a time. The cafeteria offers a wide medley of hygienic, nutritious South Indian Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian wholesome edible food. Arrangement has been made for the boys & girls to dine separately.
