SCMS Noida Scholarship 2024 is offered to eligible aspirants who meet the eligibility criteria set by the college to avail of the scholarships. Generally, these scholarships are financial aid to help them pursue their academic careers without constraints. Socio-economic conditions like backward categories and financial restrictions are also considered when the scholarships are granted.

SCMS Noida Merit Scholarships

SCMS Noida students are offered merit scholarships based on their performance and academic background. 

• The top five students from IIT who join the “Symbiosis International (Deemed University)” programs are awarded scholarships in the form of 20% Tuition-Fee Waivers.
• Merit Scholarship under SIBM Pune
• Merit Scholarship under SLS Pune
• During the course, semester toppers are also offered scholarships for various programs.

SCMS Noida offers scholarships to deserving students during admissions and the program. Some of the other SCMS Noida scholarships offered to students are elucidated below.

SCMS Noida NER Scholarships for Students from North-East Region

Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies Noida scholarships are offered to meritorious students in the Northeast Region of India (NER). The states include Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Tripura and Manipal.

This SCMS Noida scholarship waives only the academic fees. The rest of the expenses must be taken care of by the student. The eligibility criteria and documents required for this scholarship are elucidated below.

NER Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

• Only “NER” students are eligible for this SCMS Noida scholarship 2024.
• Indian, NRI, OCI, and PIO students are not eligible for this scholarship.
• International students in short-term, doctoral and part-time programs are not eligible.
• Candidates must pass 10+2 with more than 50% marks in aggregate.
• Postgraduate students also must pass their graduation with 50% or more marks.

Documents Required for NER Scholarship

• A valid domicile certificate is required.
• Letter of recommendation from a Gazetted Officer/Principal of School/college.
• Statement of Purpose
• Proof of Academic Scores/Marksheets
• Any other document that the SCMS Noida Scholarship Committee requires during admission.  

SCMS Noida International Scholarship

Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies Noida is offered to eligible international students admitted into the college. The scholarship waives off the academic fees of the Foreign National Students.

The eligibility criteria and documentation requirements of this scholarship are given below.

Eligibility Criteria and Documents Required

• A valid foreign passport is required.
• Only “Foreign National” students are eligible for this SCMS Noida scholarship 2024.
• Indian, NRI, OCI, and PIO students are not eligible for this scholarship.
• International students in short-term, doctoral and part-time programs are not eligible.
• Candidates must pass 10+2 with more than 50% marks in aggregate.
• Postgraduate students also must pass their graduation with 50% or more marks.
• Students must also appear for an English Proficiency Test conducted by the British Council (IELTS). A score of 6 or the IELA Test with a minimum band of 3 is required for this SCMS Noida scholarship 2024 eligibility.

SCMS Noida Merit Scholarship Policy

SCMS Noida scholarships are offered mainly based on merit, irrespective of caste and financial status of the students. The institute levies various eligibility criteria and selection measurements to provide students with merit scholarships. 

The Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies Noida scholarship policy details are given below.

SCMS Noida Merit Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

• Students awarded the Merit Scholarship for being a topper must score at least an 8.5 GPA.
• The eligibility criteria mention that the students must not have any prior backlogs.
• The income of the parents is not relevant for merit scholarships.
• In the scenario where a candidate is eligible for more than one SCMS Noida scholarship, only one scholarship is offered as per the student’s choice.

SCMS Noida Merit Scholarship Selection Criteria

• Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies Noida announces the merit scholarships for UG programs yearly.
• In case a student declines their admission, the Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies Noida scholarship amount will not be awarded to another student. It will be returned to the University by the institute.
• Students are not paid the scholarship amount directly. Instead, the scholarship amount is used to waive the academic fee. 
• However, students received a cheque for the SCMS Noida scholarship in the last semester.

SCMS Noida Merit Scholarship Other Policies

• In the case of a tie-breaker: If two or more students have the same GPA/CGPA score, the weighted average of academic scores from their classes 10 and 12 will be used to break the tie for the Semester I SCMS Noida scholarship 2024.
• In case of withdrawal: If a merit scholarship recipient is found guilty of gross misconduct, the institute will report the case to the student affairs office for the merit scholarship to be withdrawn. The Advisory Committee of the Symbiosis Society Foundation will make the final decision in this regard.
