Library

Library forms an important component of any educational institution. Our library is housed in a spacious building. Our institution encourages all students and staff members to make best use of the library. The college library is well equipped in terms of books and current journals subscription. In addition to main library, each department has a departmental library.

The Main library, which functions under the open access system, has a total collection of 46682 books and 10645 titles. In addition, the library subscribes IEEE/IEE, ASPP+POP, ASME, J-GATE online International Journals and 110 Numbers of printed periodicals. It is also equipped with 2399 CD-ROMs, 2208 Projects and 1126 Back Volumes.

Internet Hub

Our college has a dedicated internet lab working 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We give free internet access to our students. We have a 8 Mbps Tier-l International Satellite connectivity. The internet can be accessed from more than 400 computers.

All the departments and the HOD's have internet connectivity. The campus intranet has important details about Test Schedules, Time Tables, Examination Schedules, Campus News etc., and a wealth of information about the college.

Sports

There is a Sports Council composed of sports- oriented members of staff and the Physical Director. There is a spacious playground within the compound for playing various outdoor games like Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Cricket, Badminton, Kabbadi, etc., and indoor games like Chess, Table Tennis, Carrom Board, Billiards, etc.

Students are trained and encouraged to participate in all inter collegiate, Inter University and Tamil nadu Inter Engineering Sports (TIES) meets, Intra-mural events and annual sports meets are held year. Our students have won laurels in sports and games by taking part in competitions both at college and inter collegiate levels.

Transport

The College has its own fleet of buses for the transport of the students and staff from various locations of Chennai to College so as to enable them to reach the college in time and return comfortably. This arrangements helps them to maintain punctuality and to have a safe travel. The Starting Points are.

Canteen

The canteen caters to the food needs of both the staff and the students. The dining hall is adequately furnished with an area of 3000 sq.ft. Care is taken that the food offered is of good quality and nutritious.

Medical Centre

The college has a clinic attached with a full- times MBBS qualified, doctor and a nurse on duty to serve the students health needs. It is a fully equipped Medicare center.

Hostel

The College has separate hostels for boys and girls with all the facilities which ensure a comfortable life for our students and work- friendly conditions for the execution of their study. The hostel has spacious rooms on sharing basis. Each room is fully furnished with bedding, work tables, and cupboards. Provision has been made in each room to accommodate use of personal computers by students. The hostel has modern Kitchen and serving facilities and is professionally managed. Care is taken to serve facilities and is professionally managed. Care is taken to serve wholesome and nutritious food. Adequate security arrangements have been made for the safety and security of the inmates.
