Placements & Internships : Companies coming for recruiting vary from year to year. TCS does mass recruiting, while the cutoff is generally 60% throughout. Other companies also come for recruiting, selectively taking the best of the lot. Salary of TSC is generally INR 3,60,000/- while the other companies' salary depends on the criteria and requirement. 

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For taking admission in MCA , one has to give an exam named JECA conducted by WBJEE. According to the rank one gets, college placements are done. One has to the option to choose from a list of colleges that he/she is eligible for.

Fees & Scholarships : Rs. 3,00,000/- is the course fee per year at Techno India Saltlake, [TIS] Kolkata. There are no such scholarships available for the students for MCA. There is a facility to take loans. 

Academics & Faculty : Class timings for MCA is scheduled at the starting of each semester. Timings generally depend on the slots given, it can be a 40 min class as well as a 2 hr class. There are practical classes as well. 

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is no hostel facility for students studying in Techno India. A student has to stay in a PG according to his/her requirement. Techno India has many buildings, the main building has many offices too. So there is a joint food restaurant which is open to all, students, as well as guests, can have access to that restaurant. Outside the college, there are plenty of food stalls, which gives one unlimited access to food, be it just a snack or a full meal. The quality of the food is great too. The college has a well-maintained library, a student can borrow books for a full semester and return within the due date if the book is not returned, strict steps are taken against the students. 

Clubs & Associations : Techno India students actively take part in clubs and fests. The main Annual Cultural Festival of Techno India is Anakhronos. Students from many colleges take part in the festival. It is generally a three-day festival. EDGE, the Annual Technical Festival is organized by Geekonix, official science club of Techno India. it holds many competitions which offer great prices too.
