Eligibility Criteria for The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata

Eligibility Criteria for M.Phil

  • The candidate must have an LLM Degree or any Master’s Degree with 50% marks.

 

Application Procedure for The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata

  • Download the Admission Application Form from the University website under the “Admissions” tab.
  • Take a print out of the Application Form, and fill it with the necessary personal and academic details in your own handwriting.
  • The candidate for admission should also affix a self-attested recent color passport size photograph and signature.
  • The candidate is then required to pay the non-refundable Application Fee, in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar.

 

Admission Process for The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata

  • The candidate will be selected for the admission on the basis of an Entrance Test conducted by the University
  • This would be followed by an Interview, should the candidate get selected in the Entrance Test. 

Exemptions

  • The candidate for admission should have qualified for UGC/SLET/SET/JRF fellowships to be exempted from writing the Entrance Test.
  • Foreign candidates for admission who have LL M degree from a foreign university or Indian University are also exempted from the requirement of entrance test.

Reservation

  • The admission reservation criteria will be as per the norms prescribed by the Ministry of Human Resources Management, Government of India.

 

Eligibility Criteria for The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata

Eligibility Criteria for BA LLB {Hons.}

  • The candidate must have passed 10+2 pattern with 45% of the total marks in case of general category and 40% of the total marks in case of SC and ST applicants.
  • Age Limit - 20 years for GC and 21 for SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for LLM

  • Applicant must be a 3-years Law graduate from any recognized University with at least 50% marks.
  • Admission will also be based on the performance in the Written Test, experience, published articles.
