In the second year, I got 6 months internship in Shangri-la, Muscat. a brilliant learning experience. The managers were very good and trained in all 4 departments of the Hotel. My faculty at UEI Global helped me in further final placement into Shangri-La, Delhi.
Entrance Exams & Admissions :
I appeared for Kapil Dev Scholarship cum Aptitude Test. Qualified through it and then took admission in Hotel Management Programme. Its a 3 years degree programme and I opted for International Certificate as well which further helped me in International Internship in the second year.
Fees & Scholarships :
My semester fee was around 45,000. I got Kapil dev scholarship of Rs 40,000. The scholarship is on the basis of performance in the aptitude test and not on caste basis.
Academics & Faculty :
Great Faculty members. All have worked in Industry and has extensive experience which helped in getting the real industry learning. The academic staff is very helpful and also encourage the students to excel in the future. There are communication and personality development classes as well, which prepared me for my interview.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
The college is situated in the heart of the city in sector 34, very easily accessible, I took PG in sector 22. Chandigarh city is very clean and hygienic, people are also very nice here. The campus is equipped with all modern equipment.
