Entrance Exams & Admissions : The applicants must have passed the 10+2 from a recognised board/university. Students must have a minimum of 60% in the 10+2 exam. The score is the best of the four subjects. English must be passed in the board exams with a minimum of 50%. No specific entrance exams will be conducted for admission, and marks obtained in the board exams will be the deciding factor for selection. Admissions are based on merit, and no entrance is required. Applications for admission are accepted online through CU. The students must select Umesh Chandra College as a preference.

Placements & Internships : Students become eligible for campus placements after the 6th semester. Umeschandra college is visited yearly by many renowned companies like TCS and Wipro. The number of students selected for placements is very low. After getting my degree, I wish to apply for placements and get selected for internships, improving my work experience, thereby opening up many more opportunities for me in the future.

Academics & Faculty : Umesh Chandra college provides the morning shift to the students. The class timing are 6:30 to 7:30 for 1st class, 8:00 to 9:00 for 2nd class, and 9:30 to 10:30 for 3rd class.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The library of the college is home to a vast collection of books on various fields of study. It is a haven for students and teachers alike. Every classroom is equipped with desks and benches for the students and boards for the teachers.

Clubs & Associations : The annual fest of the college takes place around June-July. However, it is currently closed due to the pandemic. Umeschandra College takes part in many sports activities within and outside the college premises. The main sports practised here are football, cricket, and table tennis. In addition, there is a Facebook group exclusively for Umeschandra College students and alumni.
