  • PwD - Person with Disability claiming category candidates should be capable of pursuing the sought program. As per section 2r of the RPWD Act 2016, a person with a benchmark disability should have a minimum of 40% disability certified by the recognized medical boards. Verification of the medical certificate will take place and if found fraudulent to attain privilege meant for PwD shall be punished under apposite law under violation of admission policy by the Chandigarh University (CU).
  • The default category of any applicant is a general category and failing to provide sufficient documents and mentioning of the category will overthrow a candidate as a general category and further admission procedure will be conducted based on the same. Any changes required for the change of category of the applicant need to be brought to university attention as soon as possible. The candidate might lose the benefits given to the reserved categories.

Counseling for Admission via CUCET Common Admissions

Candidates who got allotted a seat via merit list need to appear for the counseling rounds and verify documents and other detailed procedures for admission and follow the same. Candidates who are on the waiting list need to appear in person on the notified dates of counseling for an interactive discussion with the Board of the committee of UITHM. The examination is of 100 marks conducted online. 1 mark for each correct answer and there is no negative marking.
