UAS B.Sc Admission 2024

University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad offers admission for B.Sc courses for various specializations. The University also offers a B.H.Sc course. The course duration is 3 years.

B.Sc Eligibility Criteria 

The candidates are eligible for the B.Sc courses at UAS if they have passed two years PUC science examination, conducted by the Department of Pre-University Education, Government of Karnataka, Or have completed an examination holding equivalent value with the subject combination of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and a science subject, Or, have passed two years PUC science examination from the Department of Pre-University Education, Government of Karnataka with Inter-Agriculture as a compulsory subject.

B.Sc Selection Process

The candidates are selected for the course based on the academic performance of the candidate in the PCB in II year PUC Science examination. 

UAS B.Tech Admission 2024

University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad offers admission for B.Tech in Food Technology.

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 

The candidates are eligible for the B.Tech Food Technology course at UAS if they have passed two years PUC/ Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as mandatory subjects and Biology as an optional subject.

B.Tech Selection Process

The candidates are selected for the course based on the scores of KCET conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority.

UAS M.Sc Admission 2024

University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad offers admission for M.Sc Agriculture and Forestry courses along with M.H.Sc for various specializations. The course duration is 2 years.

M.Sc Eligibility Criteria 

The candidates are eligible for the M.Sc and M.H.Sc courses at UAS if they have a graduation degree in the respective field that he/she is interested to pursue further, from a recognized university and must maintain an overall minimum 6.00 / 10.00 or an equivalent CGPA / OGPA. For SC/ST/Cat-I candidates, they should have completed post-graduation and must have a clear pass.

M.Sc Selection Process

The candidates are selected who have completed their bachelor’s from any recognized State / Central Governments and Autonomous institutions, applying for admission to PG programs. The scores of PG-CET and ICAR quota are considered for the selection process. 

UAS PhD Admission 2024

University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad offers admission for PhD in Agriculture and Home Science courses for various specializations. 

PhD Eligibility Criteria 

The candidates are eligible for the PhD courses at UAS if they have a Master’s degree in a relevant subject with a CGPA not less than 6/10 or an equivalent percentage/OGPA from a recognized agricultural university.

PhD Selection Process

The candidates are selected for the course based on the entrance test conducted by the University.

University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad offers admission for UG, PG, and PhD courses in fields of Agriculture, Forestry, Food Science, and Home Science. Admission to undergraduate degree programs shall be made based on the percentage of marks scored in PCB in the II-year PUC Science examination. For admission in the postgraduate course, the candidates become eligible for admission if they secure a minimum of 50% of marks in the written test.
