Infrastructure Facilities

The Institute has its own campus covering an area of 60 acres land. It has a building space of 28, 833 Sq. m consisting of 58 class rooms including 2 drawing halls,31 laboratories, 16 Tutorial Rooms, 4 workshops, 11 computer labs, one central library and department library in each department, 3 seminar halls, auditorium with 600 seating capacity and built-in audio-visual aids, faculty rooms, waiting rooms for girls. Student activity centre and fully computerized corporate office of the institute and indoor stadium the establishment of which are under progress. Each department has necessary infrastructure and other facilities for affecting an excellent teaching learning process. Broadly there are seven departments, the details of which are given in this section.

Playground

The Department of Physical Education has grown by leaps and bounds over a period of time. Today it has state of art facilities for playing many games & sports in the campus. Due to the unstinted support extended by the management of the institute, the department was able to add the required infrastructure one after the other. Today we are able to provide the following facilities to the students for playing at the campus.

Girls & Boys participation in Games & Sports in mandatory for all B.Tech Students. The Institute encourages the students to participate in Inter Collegiate, District and Inter University Tournaments. The department organizes Intramural Competitions in various Games & Sports for Boys & Girls.

Sports activities

Sports activities will be conducted under supervision of Physical Director. Students are allowed to participate the games and sports activities conducted other sister institutions.

Last year two students participated in National super seven cricket champion ship held at Kurukshetra University, Haryana.

One students represented, JNTU, Hyderabad in inter university football match held at Madurai.
