Malla Reddy Engineering College Hyderabad Telangana was established in the year 2002. It was nurtured under the guidance of Sri. Ch. Malla Reddy, who has experience in providing high-quality education. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE] and also affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University [JNTU], Hyderabad. The college is located in a lush green and serene environment on Kompally- Bahadhurpally Road.

MREC is an institution accreditated by the National Board of Accreditation [NBA] & National Assessment and Accreditation Council [NAAC] with an ‘A’ Grade. The college is also been given the status of autonomous from 2014-15 for six years by the University Grand Commission [UGC]. MREC Admission is offered to both Undergraduate and Postgraduation courses.
