Library

The Library is an integral part of the intellectual power of our college. Its Mission is to provide collections and services that support the educational goals of the college. At present the library houses a collection of 10,693 Books printed volumes subscribes to more than 80 periodicals and more than 400 Non-book resources. Utmost care is taken in developing resources for each department.
The central library areas are 400 sq.mt. The Uniqueness of our library the expansive study space blended with state-of-art facilities. The Digital Library service unit provides access to computers with internet facility. The Library has high density of shelving for printed collections, the digital library collection, audio-visual materials facilities etc.
The library is open to staff and students from 9.00a.m. to 6.00p.m. on all working days for information retrieval and services.

Transport

Bus fees on a par with Government Bus fare. Transport department functions in the college with buses to provide transport facility to students and staff from various places. College buses are operated to all towns, covering all places belonging to Namakkal, Trichy, Karur districts. The number of buses will be increased corresponding to the increase in the intake of students. This arrangements helps them to maintain punctuality and to have a safe travel.

Wi-Fi

The whole campus is well connected through wired as well as wireless networks. Students are able to have access to internet with 4 mbps connectivity. The coverage of Wi-Fi is not only restricted to class rooms but also extends to all the areas including library, auditorium, cafeteria, and hostels. Eventually, it enables VVCET to switch over to innovative and recent teaching and learning methodologies.

Boys Hostel

Boys Hostel has been constructed with all the facilities needed for the students in a sprawling area of 90,000 square feet at the cost of 4.5 crores. Our hostel can accommodate 350 students with a separate Mess and Dining Hall to serve the total strength of 350 students at the same time.

Girls Hostel

Girls Hostel has been constructed at a cost of 2.3 crores covering an area of 60,000 sq. ft. Our hostel can accommodate 65 students with a separate Mess and Dining Hall to serve the total strength of 65 students at the same time.

RO Water Faculties

“ Water points are available at appropriate places in and around the campus to quench the thirst of the students. “Water, the elixir of Life” is purified using the reverse osmosis method, and supplied hygienically. This in turn, will protect the students from health hazards and help them to lead a healthy life.”
