Library

The college has a fully automated library with above 10,000 books catering to History of Education, History of Physical Education, Educational Philosophy, Educational Sociology,  Education Psychology, Research Methodology & Statistics, Environmental Education, Population Education, Educational Technology, Educational Planning and Management, Physical Education, Sports & Yoga, Anatomy & Physiology, Sports Psychology, Health, Mental Hygiene, Value Education, Classroom Teaching Methodology, Microteaching, Lesson Planning, Educational Evaluation and many books for general and motivational reading. The library situated on the ground floor of the department for the benefit of physically challenged persons and pregnant ladies.

Laboratories

Psychology Laboratory

• The psychology laboratory has a variety of paper-pencil tests to assess creativity, intelligence, personality factors, teaching proficiencies, learning aptitudes, attitudes and abilities in various subjects, motivation and soft skills. It also has apparatus for analysis of different psychological traits.

• The tests are available to research scholars and M.Ed. students as data collection tools for their thesis and dissertation work, respectively. B.Ed., B.P.Ed. & D.Ed. trainees visit the laboratory to perform experiments/practical or for project work as per their prescribed syllabus.

Educational Technology (ET) Laboratory

The educational technology laboratory has a colour television, DVD player, radio & tape recorder, slide projector, over head projector (OHP), LCD projector & screen as hardware and many CDs, DVDs, transparencies, audio cassettes etc.

Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Laboratory

The college has 35 computers with internet connection. Students are encouraged to prepare a power point presentation (ppt.) and to spend time surfing the net for information on new acts like RTI & RTE and latest changes school teaching methodology & evaluation process.

General Science Laboratory

A general science laboratory with apparatus, specimen and chemicals to demonstrate experiments mentioned in the high school syllabus.

Social Studies Laboratory

This laboratory has been designed to help the trainee teachers generate interesting ways to capture student attention and promote concept formation.

Physiology & AnatomyLaboratory

Anatomy of the human body and its chemical response to all physical & mental activities is an essential aspect of physical education. Catering to these theory papers of the B.P.Ed. programme, the college has models of all human systems and experiments to study human physiology.

Mathematics Laboratory

In order to bring the abstract to a virtual form for students, a Mathematics Laboratory with manuals, charts and activities to demonstrate concepts mentioned in the high school syllabus.

Art & Craft Workshop

This room has a stock of all the types of drawing pencils, round & flat brushes of all numbers, stencils, wax crayons, sketch pens, permanent markers, water colour paints, poster colours, oil paints, pastel colours etc. to help trainees learn fine art skill that may help the future teachers to prepare attractive, accurate and proportional teaching aids.

Auditorium cum Seminar Hall

The college has an auditorium with the sitting capacity of 300 to conduct cultural, musical and also intellectual activities like seminars, faculty development programmes etc.

Gym

The college has a well equipped gym for the trainees of physical education. A well qualified Trainer is available to guide the students.

Indoor & Outdoor Sports

The college has provision for carrom, chess, table tennis, hockey, cricket, badminton, volley ball, basket ball, kabbadi, Kho-kho, hand ball, skipping, martial arts, boxing, wrestling, football and athletics.

Canteen

The college has a canteen that caters to hale and hearty foods prepared and consumed in hygienic environment. The canteen has also put up captions against oily fast foods and unhealthy eating habits.
