Visva Bharati University (Santiniketan) Birbhum announces the exam results for the various arts and science UG, PG, Diploma and Certificate courses on the official website. Students can check their VBU results from the Visva Bharati exam portal. The semester-wise results for various courses are published in the VBU exam portal in PDF format, containing the list of candidates who appeared for the VBU examinations and their result status. Candidates need a minimum pass mark of 40% in the internal and external examinations to be promoted to the next semester or academic year.
Visva Bharati University also provides special grace marks and conducts improvement exams and special supplementary exams for candidates with unsatisfactory results. Students can apply for a revaluation or retotalling of VBU results to improve their scores.

Candidates can apply for revaluation of their VBU answer scripts if they are not satisfied with the marks scored in the regular, improvement or backlog examinations. Students can download the revaluation application form available on the VBU exam portal. They must submit the completed form with a copy of the marks memo and a revaluation fee of INR 200 per subject within 15 days of result issue at the office of the head of the department of the concerned course. The application is further forwarded to the registrar of examinations of VBU. The revaluation results are published on the Visva Bharati official website after the revaluation process.
