ANUPGCET 2023 is an entrance exam organized by Acharya Nagarjuna University for candidates aspiring to pursue Postgraduate degrees in some of the popular colleges in Andhra Pradesh. ANUPGCET offers admissions in Andhra Kesari Tanguturi Prakasam University, Ongole, and other affiliated PG Colleges in Guntur and Prakasam district along with Acharya Nagarjuna University.

About ANUPGCET

ANUPGCET 2023 is conducted for Postgraduate admissions in Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, Andhra Kesari Tanguturi Prakasam University, Ongole, and other affiliated colleges in Guntur and Prakasam districts. Admissions will be based on the rank obtained by the candidate in the ANUPGCET exam and a few other eligibility conditions defined by the organizing authorities.

Acharya Nagarjuna University was established by Act 43 of 1976 of the A.P. State Legislature and Governed by Act 4 of 1991 covering 6 Universities of the State. ANUPGCET Eligibility Criteria 2023

The Eligibility criteria for ANUPGCET 2023 are determined on the basis of various courses that are offered by the University. For every PG course offered by the University, the requirement of education qualification is determined, and candidates are required to meet those requirements and apply for the test category of their target course.

Apart from course-specific eligibility, ANUPGCET 2023 has established some ground rules to determine if the candidate can appear in the exam or not.

  • There is no age limit to appear in the exam, although there are certain fee restrictions determined by the Acharya Nagarjuna University for both OC and BC categories of applicants.
  • A minimum Graduation score of 50% from a recognized university is required in order to appear in ANUPGCET 2023.
  • Only Indian Nationals are allowed to apply for ANUPGCET 2023.
  • Only Residents of Andra Pradesh/Telangana State are eligible to apply for ANUPGCET 2023. The official status is determined by the Andra Pradesh/Telangana State Education system.

ANUPGCET Application Form 2023

The application form for ANUPGCET 2023 will be made available on www.pgcet.anudoa.in, from the last week of Feb 2023, tentatively, and the last date for application without late fees will also be announced.

To fill out the application for ANUPGCET 2023, follow the mentioned steps:

  • Step 1: Candidates should visit the official ANU website, www.pgcet.anudoa.in, and click on the online registration tab.
  • Step 2: Candidates should enter the required personal details.
  • Step 3: For verification purposes, the website will ask the students to enter the OTP received on their registered number. Complete the registration with the verification.
  • Step 4: Start filling out the provided application form for ANUPGCET 2023 with the required personal, academic and reservation details
  • Step 5: Review the filled application for errors or mistakes.
  • Step 6: A receipt will be generated after completion, save the receipt for ANUPGCET 2023 application.

ANUPGCET Exam Pattern 2023

The exam pattern for ANUPGCET 2023 is defined by the University. Candidates will have to attempt the exam offline/on paper. Few guidelines before attempting the exam:

  • Candidates have to indicate their answers only on the OMR Sheet provided along with the Question Paper.
  • Applicants are advised to use a blue/black ballpoint pen for attempting the exam.
  • Candidates will not be allowed into the exam Hall after 15 minutes of the commencement of the Entrance Test. The Candidate will be allowed to leave the exam Hall only after 60 minutes after the commencement of the Entrance Test.

ANUPGCET Results 2023

The result date for ANUPGCET 2023 will be announced a few days after the examination is concluded. The results will be available on the official website www.pgcet.anudoa.in.

To obtain your ANUPGCET Results 2023 follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of ANU www.pgcet.anudoa.in.
  • Step 2: Select the Download Rank Card option.
  • Step 3: Enter the required details of the candidate's hall ticket number and date of birth.
  • Step 4: Save the result by downloading the file.

ANUPGCET Counselling 2023

The counselling session after the ANUPGCET exam will be organized by the University Board. Once the results are announced by ANU, candidates can download their rank cards and schedule counselling from the website www.pgcet.anudoa.in or www.anu.ac.in. Candidates will be informed about the mentioned information through SMS/E-mail the moment it is uploaded to the website.

  • The order of merit will be decided on the basis of marks obtained in ANUPGCET 2023. In case of a tie, the tie will be resolved on the basis of the percentage obtained in the Qualifying exam, further, the tie will be resolved based on marks obtained in the Group subjects of the qualifying exam. Still, the tie persists; it will be resolved on the basis of date of birth in favour of older candidates.
  • Candidates have to pay the processing fees at the time of counselling.
  • A declaration form has to be provided by the candidate at the time of counselling.
  • A candidate once opted for a course and is allotted will be allowed to change the course which he/she already opted for, subject to availability of seats on payment of Rs.300/- for the first time and on payment of Rs.500/- for the second and final time.

ANUPGCET 2023 Cancellation of seat

Once the merit list is out and seats are allotted, candidates have to consider the rules and regulations associated with the seat cancellation policy of ANUPGCET 2023. Candidates eligible for seat allotment will be asked to report to the allotting authority. If the respective candidate fails to report, the allotment will shift to the end of the complete session, subject to the availability of seats.
