HSSC 2023 exam conducts exams to recruit candidates under various posts for HSSC Patwari, Clerk, Sub-inspector, Junior Engineer, etc. The Staff Selection Commission of Haryana state releases the notification on the official HSSC website. HSSC 2023 Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted both online and offline. The paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The exam pattern for all the posts except posts in Haryana police is the same.

HSSC Exam Syllabus

The syllabus for the written exam is the same for all vacancies except the vacancies in Haryana police(Both SI and Constable). The HSSC exam syllabus is given below:

HSSC 2023 Syllabus for Junior Engineer, Gram Sachiv and Canal Patwari Posts

There will be one written exam for these posts for 90 marks. 75% of the syllabus will be general and 25% syllabus will check the candidate's knowledge related to the state of Haryana.

The Majority portion containing 75% weightage will include General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, Computer, English, Hindi, and relevant subject as per post. The Remaining portion will contain History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture, etc. of Haryana.

HSSC 2023 Syllabus for Sub Inspector (SI) and Constable Posts in Haryana Police

A written test will be conducted having 80% weightage in the overall score. The test will have questions from General Awareness, General Science, Current Events, General Reasoning, Mental Aptitude, Numerical ability, Agriculture and animal husbandry and the relevant topics related to the posts.

The syllabus is the same for both SI and Constable, however, the difficulty level of the paper for Constable will be of 10+2 level, whereas the difficulty level of the paper for SI will be of graduate level.
