SOPA 2024 online registration is ongoing for Phase 2 admission. Eligible candidates can apply on the official SOPA website at sopa.nmims.edu. The last date to register for Phase 2 SOPA 2024 is Feb 26, 2024.
The SOPA Phase 1 registration and auditions have already been concluded. Candidates selected in the SOPA Phase 1 admission process must upload the documents and pay the admission fee by Feb 17, 2024.
The SOPA 2024 Phase 2 auditions will be conducted online on Mar 6, 2024. Admit cards will be available on the student dashboard after 5:00 PM on Mar 1, 2024. The SOPA merit list of the selected candidates will be released on Mar 11, 2024.
NMIMS School of Performing Arts conducts SOPA 2024 for admission to BA in Western Contemporary Music and BA in Indian Music. Unlike other entrance exams, candidates will be selected for SOPA 2024 based on their performance in the audition round.

The conducting body has made the SOPA 2024 Phase 2 application form available on the official website. Eligible candidates must register and fill out the application form before the last date on Feb 26, 2024.
How To Apply For SOPA 2024?

Candidates are required to attach a video link of their performance on the application form. Important points regarding the video to be attached are outlined below.
- The video must be strictly within 2-5 minutes.
- It must be recorded live in one take using a phone camera or DSLR.
- No editing or processing of the video content is permitted.
- The video must strictly be for audition only.
- The candidate's face and sound must be clear and loud.
- The video has to be uploaded on YouTube as an unlisted video.
- No private videos will be assessed.
SOPA 2024 Application Fees
Candidates interested in applying for SOPA must pay a registration fee of INR 2000/-. The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. The payment must be made online through Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.

About the Course
BA Music- Indian Music
The BA in Indian Music is a three-year course that allows students to specialise in Indian music through an innovative curriculum. The course offers students the choice between vocal or sitar as a major practical.
The course uses teaching methodologies that blend theory and practice and prepare students for concerts, studio performances, and more. Methods such as Taleem and Riyaz are integrated into the program along with music Baithaks and workshops.
BA Music-Western Contemporary Music
The BA Western Contemporary Music course is a three-year program that provides students courses in vocals, piano, guitar, and drums. The well-rounded course offers theoretical and practical knowledge, with students enjoying the opportunities to form bands, write or create music, and perform with the skills acquired during the course.
Some of the important subjects taught under the program include Ear Training, Arranging, Production, Composition, Solo Classes, Music Theory & Harmony, Live Playing Sessions, Hindustani classical Music, Research, Creative Projects, Studio Session Essentials, and more.

SOPA 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The conducting body determines SOPA eligibility criteria. Failure to meet the SOPA eligibility criteria may result in the cancellation of candidature. The eligibility criteria for SOPA 2024 admissions are as follows:
- Students must have passed the 10+2 exam from a recognized board.
- Candidates must have a minimum 50% aggregate to be eligible for the courses.
- If a candidate has less than 50% but has potential and skills, they may be considered for the audition round.
- Candidates above 35 years of age are not eligible.
SOPA Admit Card 2024
The SOPA admit card 2024 will be issued for the shortlisted candidates. Registered candidates can download the SOPA call letter for Phase 2 from the students' dashboard on Mar 1, 2024. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the audition without the admit card. They must also bring valid proof of ID such as a Voter ID, Passport, College/School ID, Aadhar Card, etc.

SOPA Result 2024
