UPTET Exam Pattern 2024 is set by UPBEB and must be thoroughly known to the candidates before appearing for the exam. The exam will be conducted to recruit teachers at the primary and upper primary levels in Government schools of Uttar Pradesh.

UPTET 2024 Exam Pattern Highlights
Two papers will be for the UPTET exam 2024. Paper 1 for candidates applying for the position of primary level teachers (class 1 to class 5) and Paper 2 for candidates applying for primary level teachers (class 6 to class 8). Any candidate applying for both the posts has to appear in papers I and II. Exam will be conducted by UPBEB in both PBT & CBT format.
Both papers will be of objective type and contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The candidates must finish 150 questions in 150 minutes (2 and 1/2 hours). Each question carries one mark, and there will be no negative marking in the papers.

The Paper I focuses on topics that are relevant for teaching Standards 1st to 5th. Candidates can refer to NCERT Books of 1st to 5th standards for the better understanding of the scope of UPTE.
