VUNET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must ensure that they satisfy the VUNET 2023 eligibility criteria before applying for the examination. Vishwakarma University conducts VUNET for candidates seeking admission for its identified undergraduate and postgraduate studies in fields like B. However, if a candidate holds a valid score of JEE Main/ UCEED/ CLAT/ UCEED/ CEED/ MH-CET, he/she is exempted from VUNET. VUNET 2023 Exam Pattern
Applicants for VUNET 2023 are advised to go through the VUNET exam pattern carefully. The exam pattern for VUNET 2023 is as follows:
Test Structure for Design Programmes (B.Des. / M.Des.)
VUNET for design programmes is conducted in 3 consecutive parts / stages. All the stages of the test are compulsory to be eligible.
- Part I : Design Aptitude Test – 50 multiple choice questions – 50 Marks – Time available 75 minutes. Coverage : Similar to CEED / UCEED.
- Part II : Studio Test – 50 marks – Based on Design Conceptualization and Theme Sketches, Use of Material towards Concept in 3D and Concept Write-Up (90 mins).
- Part III : Presenting Portfolio / Personal Interview by the panel – 20 mins for each candidate.
Test Structure for Non-Design Programmes (Engineering / Pharmacy / Law / Management)
- Duration : 2.5 Hrs.
- Questions / Marks : 100 (Multiple Choice Questions).

VUNET 2023 Instructions
General Instructions
- Candidates need to apply for VUNET by filling up the VUNET Application Form and by paying the requisite fees.
- Vishwakarma University (VU), Pune, within 48 hours after the registration, sends payment receipt as an acknowledgement of receipt of VUNET Application form and requisite payment. Candidates need to read and understand all / relevant tabs (information items) available on the VUNET Home Page.
- VUNET is conducted only for identified undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Refer “About VUNET – Overview” Section to know more about the programmes for which VUNET is applicable along with applicable fees for VUNET and applicable Exemption from VUNET.
- As VUNET is not applicable for all the programmes, for “Non-VUNET” programmes, candidates are suggested to approach the VU Counselling and Admissions office (Pune) directly, to seek information about provisional admission. Refer to contact details.
- Test Structure / Pattern is different for each programme. Candidates need to refer relevant test structure provided under “About VUNET – Test Structure”.
- VUNET is conducted "online" on Vishwakarma University’s own “EasyPariksha” Platform / System in an online proctored mode
- On the day of VUNET, Candidates need to follow the steps provided under Instructions – Test Instructions.
- Candidates need to refer specifically to the listed Do’s and Don’ts before VUNET, during VUNET and post VUNET.
- Candidates are suggested to read technical requirements and material requirements (design programmes) and do the needful accordingly.
- Candidates are suggested to take MOCK VUNET to get the look and feel of the test / system / platform. However, the MOCK test questions are of general nature (indicative) and do not resemble the actual test questions.
- VUNET result are communicated to individual candidate on their registered email ID within 5 working days from the date of VUNET.
- Admission to Vishwakarma University through VUNET is the provisional admission for the said academic year and the same needs to be confirmed on payment of fees on or before the due date and subject to fulfilment of eligibility conditions of the respective programme(s) and in accordance with the rules of the Vishwakarma University, Pune.
Test Instructions
- VUNET is conducted "online" on Vishwakarma University’s own “EasyPariksha” Platform / System in an online proctored mode.
- On the day of VUNET, 15 minutes before the test,the candidate receives an individual email (on registered email ID) from VU, mentioning the following details.

- Registered / Applied candidates get examination details and instructions on the email to do the needful.
- Candidates need to click on the link and login with shared credentials. Candidates need to login into EasyPariksha system 5 minutes before the examination starts.
- After logging in the candidate is required to read the instructions carefully before starting with the examination.
- Each multiple choice question will have 4 options –the candidate is required to select / click the one of choice.
- Candidates may attempt the questions in any order. Candidate are suggested to Use “Next” and / or “Previous” Buttons to navigate.
- While taking VUNET, Candidates may keep question/s unanswered. There is no need to follow the sequence or to attempt each question. Candidates can revisit unanswered questions later (however, during the test time). During exam time, multiple times,the candidate is allowed to change the answer of attempted question/s.
- Candidates can use blank page/s to do the Rough work (if any).
- After attempting each question, the candidate is required to “Save” the answer to move to the next question.
- For easy recognition, “Question overview” palette, is provided on “EasyPariksha” Platform. The questions are assigned colour codes (Green and Red). Green colour indicates “attempted question/s” and Red colour indicates “non-attempted” question/s.
- At the end (after attempting all / possible questions), the candidate is required to end the examination (on / before time) by clicking on the “End Exam” button.
- Candidate are suggested to read technical requirements and material requirements (design programmes) and do the needful accordingly.
VUNET 2023 Requirements
VUNET 2023 is an online proctored exam and candidates are requested to make the following arrangements for a hassle free exam.
Technical Requirements for VUNET 2023
Candidates are suggested to arrange for technical infrastructure / support to take up the examination smoothly.
- Appear for the examination from a desktop / laptop or from a smartphone. However, appearing for examination with a desktop / laptop along with the Mouse is highly recommended for a better Navigating experience.
- Ensure that the batteries of these units are properly charged prior to examination or ensure that the device is connected to the charger so that it does not run out of battery during the test. Uninterrupted power supply in case of Desktop PC.
- The Keyboard must be in working condition for entering login credentials and answering subjective questions (if any)
- Ensure that the device must not be connected to any organization domain which might restrict access to the URL.
- Antivirus and Firewall must be Uninstalled/Disabled for the Test duration.
- Ensure internet facility / connection with consistent bandwidth (at least 0.6 Mbps). Internet connectivity must be Open, without any domain restrictions.
- For best user experience, Google Chrome browser (version: 85.0.4183.102) / Mozilla Firefox browser (version: 80.0.1) and above is recommended.
- The said device is recommended to have a camera and microphone. The Candidate is strictly instructed not to turn off the device camera and microphone and should not tamper with the settings of the camera and microphone till the examination is completed.
- The candidate should give permission to the EasyPariksha system (VUNET Platform) to access the device camera and microphone whenever asked by the EasyPariksha system.

- Craft material:cutting-pasting material like Fevicol, craft papers, sticky notes, toothpicks, Cutter, Scissor, glue stick, Adhesive Tape, Stapler etc.
Part III (Personal Interview / Portfolio Presentation)
- Portfolio/ Work samples in pdf / ppt format (on the desktop / laptop) to present the same during an online interaction with the VU Panel.

Things “To Do”
- Do seek your parent's consent (in case you are a minor) before taking the VUNET as your video will be recorded from time to time during the test duration.
- Do read through the Examinee Instructions.

- Do not share the internet bandwidth during the course of the Test.
- Do not move away from your computer and Webcam range.
- Do not have a light source behind you or at an angle that will cast any shadow on your face.
- Do not have any paper, device, equipment with you that has not been explicitly approved by VUNET Authorities.

Things “To Do”
- Do accept the Terms and Conditions displayed on your Console.
- Do read and understand the Test Instructions, Section Instructions and Question level instructions.
- Do focus on the activity to be performed on the screen to solve the question being displayed.
- Do keep track of the Test timer.
- Do look for any on-screen messages and respond immediately as per the message received.
- Do be aware that any suspicion of malpractice or attempted use of unfair means can lead to your disqualification.
Things “Not To Do”
- Do not cover the webcam at any point from the start of the Test till your Test is submitted
- Do not create a virtual setup of screen mirroring or casting your screen.
- Do not consume any breakfast/meal/snacks/beverage during the test.
- Do not cover or mask your face.
- Do not change the seating posture.
- Do not talk to anybody while taking the Test.
- Do not have anybody present with you while taking the Test.
- Do not use any other gadgets or communication devices during the course of the Test.
- Do not share your screen with anybody.
- Do not take screenshots or videos or photos of the question to share with anyone or on social media channels.
- Do not use any unfair means to gain an advantage in the Test.
- Do not try to use any other application other than Launcher on the system.
- Do not Hit ‘X’ on the top right corner to close the Launcher window.
- Avoid leaving the computer / Test ahead of the allotted Test end time.
- Do not move around your seated position such that it obstructs a clear frontal view of your full face.

Post VUNET 2023

Things “To Do”
- Do a manual submit of responses to questions by pressing the ‘Submit’ button once you have completed your test.
- Ensure successful submission of the test and close the browser.
- Do wait for the browser to close.
- Do restart your computer to reverse all temporary system changes made for the Test.
Things “Not To Do”
- Do not try to re-take the VUNET unless specifically instructed to do so.
- Do not try to reach out to the Helpdesk to know your score and result. The same will be communicated as per schedule.
VUNET 2023 Result
VUNET 2023 Results will be announced on the official website , after the exams are conducted. Vishwakarma University (VU) announces the scheduled VUNET results within 7 working days from the date of VUNET. Individual students get an email/notification that mentions the result – “Qualified” or “Not Qualified”. On qualifying for VUNET, the individual student can proceed with the provisional admission for the said programme at VU by filling up the application form and paying the requisite application form fee plus the first instalment for the academic year.
