WB JECA scorecard 2024 will contain details of the candidate’s name, score secured, percentage, etc. Students can follow the step-by-step instructions given below to check the WB JECA 2024 results:

• Step 1: Visit the official website of WBJEEB at wbjeeb.in/jeca
• Step 2: Click on the WB JECA Results 2024 on the home page
• Step 3: Enter the application number and date of birth
• Step 4: Enter the pin code as displayed on the screen
• Step 5: Rank card for WB JECA 2024 result will be displayed on the screen
• Step 6: Candidates can download the WB JECA scorecard 2024 and take a printout for future reference

WB JECA Results 2024: Tie-Breaking Criteria

In case two or more candidates secured the same score in WB JECA 2024 result, the authorities will apply the follow the tie-breaking criteria given below to finalise the generalised merit list:

• Candidates with less negative marks or zero negative marks in Mathematics and Aptitude tests combined will be considered for higher rank
• If the tie continues, candidates with more positive marks in Mathematics will be considered
• Candidate with more positive marks in the Aptitude test is considered if the tie remains
• If the tie remains, candidates with less negative marks in Mathematics are taken
• If the tie is the same, the candidate with fewer negative marks on the Aptitude test will be considered
• Candidates with older age will be considered based on their date of birth if the tie continues. 

WB JECA Results: Important Points

Given below are the important points about WB JECA results students must note:

• The WB JECA result will be available online in the form of a generalised merit list
• The candidates must download and take a printout of the WB JECA scorecard for further counselling process
• To avail of the duplicate rank card, students must apply on the official website before the due date and pay Rs 500/- by a bank draft in the name of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board” payable in Kolkata.
• The candidates will be eligible for the counselling process based on the WB JECA cut-off 2024
• The WBJEEB does not entertain any post-publication review or scrutiny of results once it is published
• The WB JECA results and the merit list released will be final and no further changes or requests will be entertained
