The Executive MBA admission process is mainly through entrance exams like CAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAT, etc. for IITs and IIMs. Some of the private colleges conduct their own entrance exams like SPJAT, XAT, IBSAT, TISSNET etc. The main eligibility criteria for admission to these courses are that the student should already have at least two years of working experience in the relevant specialisation. Candidates should apply and appear for the relevant entrance exam based on the institution they have opted for. It is important to score at least 750+ in GMAT which is the most commonly accepted entrance exam. In case the candidate appears for CAT, they should score at least 90 percentile to get admission in IIM.
Some of the top B-Schools have made it mandatory for the candidate to pass the language test as it may include international exposure during the course. Also, the candidate needs to appear for the Writing Ability Test (WAT) to get through the admission process.
