The Common Admission Test (CAT), offered by IIMs on a rotating basis once a year, is a national level MBA entrance exam. Dates and details for the CAT 2022 exam are already available on the official website. The IIM Bangalore will be in charge of organising the CAT admission exam in 2022.
According to the CAT 2022 exam format, the exam lasts for two hours and consists of three sections: verbal ability and reading comprehension (VARC), data interpretation and logical reasoning (DILR), and quantitative aptitude (QA). There are time limits for each section of the CAT entrance exam. Since IIMs provide no official CAT syllabus, applicants must plan their CAT preparation strategy in light of the tests from the preceding year.
Another national-level MBA entry test is the Common Management Admission Test or CMAT. The MBA entrance exam will likely be administered online by NTA in the second week of April 2023 for admissions for the class of 2023. According to the CMAT test pattern, four sections on the question paper must be answered in three hours. Every year, the Xavier School of Management in Jamshedpur administers the Xavier Aptitude Test to individuals seeking admission to the MBA and PGDM programmes. The computer-based MBA admission exam 2023 will take place on Jan 8, 2023. According to the XAT 2023 exam pattern, there will be four sections on the paper that must be completed in three hours while also taking into account the negative marking system.
The MBA (IB) programme provided by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade requires applicants to take a national-level entrance test administered by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. The National Testing Agency will administer the IIFT 2023 exam through a computer. According to the IIFT 2023 exam blueprint, there will be four sections and a 120-minute time limit. There will be no sectional time limit, but each question will be subject to negative marking.
The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, administered by Symbiosis International, is one of the National MBA Entrance Exams 2022 in India (Deemed University). The Graduate Management Admission Council, also known as GMAC, administers the NMAT, a national MBA entry exam. The NMAT is the only exam that permits candidates to take it three times. The number of questions has been reduced to 108 following the NMAT exam format from the previous year. There were 120 questions total earlier among the three sections. Institutes that accept the results of the NMAT admission exam are NMAT participating institutes in 2022. Apart from the 29 Indian institutions that accept NMAT scores for admittance, there are 7 in South Africa and 5 in the Philippines.
One of India's national level MBA Entrance Exams 2022 is the IBS Aptitude Test, administered by IBS Hyderabad (ICFAI Business School). Any of the nine IBS campuses, Hyderabad, Dehradun, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Jaipur, Kolkata, and Pune, will accept applicants who take the IBSAT 2022. Every year, the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad, holds the university-level MBA entrance exam known as the NIPER JEE MBA. For admission to MA programmes offered at several TISS campuses, the Tata Institute of Social Science administers the Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test. The computer-based TISSNET test takes place in English for one hour and forty minutes.
