Pearson VUE administers a computer-based test called NMAT by GMAC at different locations across India, and aspirants can choose their own exam venue/date/time. It is approved as an admission criterion by India's major management colleges.
Q: Who conducts NMAT?
A: The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) conducts the NMAT exam, one of India's top MBA entrance exams, across 76 exam centres in 73 cities across the country. The test window for the NMAT exam is approximately 70 days. The NMAT 2024 exam dates are likely to fall between October and December. The NMAT exam scheduling window allows candidates to schedule their exam dates inside the test timeframe. All applicants can access the exam scheduling window through their NMAT candidate login.
Q: Can the NMAT Application form be corrected?
A: It is advisable to carefully review the information entered in the application form before submission and preview your form, and if necessary, modify the details entered before completing the form, as most of the information you provide cannot be modified after the form has been submitted. After making the payment, you will be allowed to edit specific elements of your application form, such as School and Communication Preferences.
Q: How can the NMAT exam be rescheduled?
A: To reschedule the NMAT exam candidates must log in to the NMAT account using the credentials and then hit the schedule exam button after that select the date, time and preferable location. Q: Which one is easier NMAT or CAT?
A: NMAT is far easier than CAT, and the majority of candidates who prepare for CAT may readily attempt NMAT. So, if you are adequately prepared for the CAT, NMAT should not be a problem. Apart from a few minor issues, most of the topics are identical in both tests. The sole distinction is that NMAT is a speed test, whereas CAT is not. This is also why NMAT by GMAC is easier, as the emphasis is on completing problems fast and accurately rather than the strategy employed to solve them. This is why it is not certain that if you score well in the CAT, you will also perform well in the NMAT.
Q: When will NMAT exam registration start?
A: The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) started the NMAT registration on 1st August 2024 at register.nmat.org. The NMAT registration deadline was Oct 13, 2024. Candidates can complete the NMAT by GMAC registration 2024 online. Candidates are encouraged to register for NMAT 2024 and select their desired date as soon as possible, as test centres and time slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Q: Is NMAT an online or offline exam?
A: GMAC allows candidates to choose their preferred NMAT exam mode, day, time, and place. You can self-schedule, reschedule, and take the NMAT 2024 exam on any date in one of two ways: at a Test Center or via an Online Proctored Exam from Home. The entire process takes place online and can be completed when you submit your application.
