Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar (Old Campus) was founded in 1987. It is a private unitary university located in the state of Odisha. It offers various PG courses like MBA BM, MBA-HRM, MBA RAM, MBA-SM, MBA-UMG, EMBA-BM, etc. The main aim of XIMB Bhubaneswar is to inspire future generations of students aspiring for excellent quality higher education.

The Xavier University (New Campus) was established on July 6, 2013, under the Xavier University, Odisha Act 2013. The Xavier University, Odisha Amendment Act 2021 was passed in the Odisha Legislative Assembly renaming Xavier University as XIM University. XIMB Bhubaneswar has been recognized by UGC and accredited by the NBA.
