- The CUET UG 2025 registration will open shortly at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG. The exam in May/June 2025 will be in CBT mode. Major changes are the lowering of subjects from 63 to 37 and standardized exam duration.
- NATA 2025 registrations are ongoing for LPU B.Arch admission 2025. Candidates can visit the official portal, stureg.nata-app.online/signup to register for the same. Further, NATA 2025 will conducted from March 1, 2025, to June 2025, across 61 cities every Friday and Saturday.
LPU (Lovely Professional University) was established in 2005. It has been consistently ranked as one of the top universities in the country. With its 600-acre campus, LPU is one of the oldest private universities in the country.
The Lovely Professional University(LPU) has been placed 27th in the overall category among all government and private universities in India by NIRF Rankings 2024. LPU Jalandhar has received the highest NAAC grade (A++) with a 3.68 score on a 4-point scale and is approved by many agencies, such as UGC, NCTE, PCI, COA, and BCI.
LPU's most searched courses are B. Tech and MBA. The university has constantly ranked in the top 100 for these courses. Aside from these courses, LPU offers many UG and PG courses in many specializations. Admission to these and other LPU courses is through LPUNEST. Numerous undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and diploma programs are available at LPU Jalandhar in a wide range of subjects, including engineering, computer applications, management, economics, law, hotel management, agriculture, food technology, nutrition and dietetics, and more. These courses include 3-year and 4-year undergraduate programs. In a similar vein, LPU offers postgraduate courses with 1-year and 2-year lengths.
The total fee for each course and specialization at LPU Jalandhar varies according to its length. Both academic and non-academic fees are included in the fee schedule. LPU Jalandhar Admission
LPU admissions are made by filling out an online or offline application form on the official website and at the LPU campus. Admission to various UG and PG courses like B.Tech, B.Sc, MBA, M.Tech, MA, MSW, etc. are done based on LPUNEST, followed by an interview.
Apart from LPUNEST, applicants can also apply for admission based on other national entrance exams, such as NEET, CUET, NATA, CAT/XAT, etc., depending on the course. For engineering courses, LPU considers the JEE Main scores for admission. LPU offers direct admission to its engineering program if students have scored at least 80 percentile in JEE Main exam.
The LPU admission process essentially takes place in 3 steps:
The first step requires interested students to apply for LPUNEST. Those who clear the entrance exam are shortlisted in the second step. In the final step, shortlisted students call in for the interview process. Aspiring candidates can apply online on the official website.
LPU Cutoff
The university has not declared the LPU Cutoff for LPUNEST. However, the cutoff details for other entrance exams, such as NATA, CMAT, NMAT, MAT, and others, are announced for admission to MBAs and other courses. Given below are the LPU cutoffs for MBA admission for the 2024-2026 session.
LPU MBA Cutoff
LPU cutoff 2025 will be released soon after the LPUNEST results are released for all rounds. The CAT 2024 cutoff for LPU will be released after the CAT 2024 exam is conducted on November 24, 2024. The results for these are expected to be announced in January 2025.
Below is the LPU MBA cutoff 2024 based on CAT 2023. The cutoff given is for the general category students in different MBA programs and is the overall CAT cutoff.

LPU Result
Lovely Professional University Jalandhar declares the UG, PG, diploma, certificate, online, and distance education results through its official portal. Candidates can check their LPU results from the LPU e-connect UMS portal using their login credentials, such as user ID and password. The LPU semester results are declared within 30 days of exam completion. Apart from the regular, online, and LPU distance results, LPU also releases the LPUNEST result for admission to various courses on its official site.
LPU Placements
The LPU placement for 2024 is still ongoing, and so far, the highest package offered for B.Tech is INR 52.08 LPA. In 2023, more than 5500 offers were made by 1107 companies with an overall highest package of INR 64 LPA. More details are given in the table below:

LPU Scholarships
LPU offers scholarships and financial aid to many students for different courses based on different criteria. The university has already rewarded scholarships worth INR 100 Crores to the students enrolled in the previous years. The scholarships are provided to students for courses after 10th, 12th, diploma, degree, etc., separately. Therefore, the requirements differ accordingly.
