NMIMS Mumbai was founded in 1981 and is among the most reputed universities. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in a wide variety of disciplines, including engineering and technology, science, law, management, architecture and design, commerce, and so on.
NMIMS Mumbai was recognized as a Category-1 University by MHRD/UGC in 2018. The university also holds an NAAC accreditation with an A+ grade.
The NMIMS courses are divided into seven departments. All the NMIMS Mumbai courses have been approved by AICTE. Around 650+ faculty members guide the students through their day-to-day course curriculum at NMIMS Mumbai.
According to the NIRF Rankings 2024, NMIMS Mumbai secured the 84th position in the overall category and the 21st position in the management category. It has received the highest ratings from CRISIL and ICRA. The university is AACSB accredited.

Generally, the acceptance rate for the NMIMS Mumbai MBA is less than one percent every year. NMIMS Mumbai Admissions are based on academic merit and valid entrance test scores, including NMAT scores.
