• NMAT 2025 retake registrations have started. The last date to register for NMAT 2025 second attempt is December 17, 2024.

NMIMS Mumbai was founded in 1981 and is among the most reputed universities. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in a wide variety of disciplines, including engineering and technology, science, law, management, architecture and design, commerce, and so on.

NMIMS Mumbai was recognized as a Category-1 University by MHRD/UGC in 2018. The university also holds an NAAC accreditation with an A+ grade.

The NMIMS courses are divided into seven departments. All the NMIMS Mumbai courses have been approved by AICTE. Around 650+ faculty members guide the students through their day-to-day course curriculum at NMIMS Mumbai.

According to the NIRF Rankings 2024, NMIMS Mumbai secured the 84th position in the overall category and the 21st position in the management category. It has received the highest ratings from CRISIL and ICRA. The university is AACSB accredited.

NMIMS Mumbai Courses & Fees

NMIMS Mumbai courses range from engineering & technology to management, science to architecture & design, law to commerce, and Liberal Arts, Humanities, and Behavioral Science. The university offers around 57 courses, out of which 30 are undergraduate courses, 21 are postgraduate courses, five are doctoral programs, and the last one is a diploma course. Courses like B.Tech, BBA, B.Arch, B.Des, and so on are offered in the UG category. Similarly, MBA, M.Sc, MCA, M.Tech, and other programs are among the postgraduate course categories. NMIMS Mumbai Admission

Generally, the acceptance rate for the NMIMS Mumbai MBA is less than one percent every year. NMIMS Mumbai Admissions are based on academic merit and valid entrance test scores, including NMAT scores. Candidates should also pass the psychometric test, written analytics assessment, and personal interview. Around 71% of candidates who were admitted to the NMIMS Mumbai MBA program in the academic session (2023-24) were male candidates. • First, aspirants should register for the NMAT Test and then complete their MBA admission registration on the official website of NMIMS Mumbai.
• Further, the MBA selection procedure is conducted offline at the NMIMS Mumbai campus.
• Candidates are required to sit for the Written Ability Test (WAT) and the personal interview. Both of these are qualifier rounds for the NMIMS Mumbai MBA admission selection procedure.
• Once the NMAT Scores are out, the shortlisted candidates receive the call letter for further rounds on the NoPaperForms dashboard. 
• The aspiring candidates are required to book the slots for WAT and PI Rounds and make the payment accordingly.
• The aspirants should choose their desired date and time for the rounds. Both rounds are generally conducted over a time span of 4 to 4.5 hours.
• The shortlisted applicants should bring a printed copy of their photo ID and NMAT Admit Card and keep it with them during both rounds.

NMIMS Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE)

• NMIMS CDOE was established in 1994. It is the distance and online education centre of NMIMS University. NMIMS CDOE began its ODL & OL journey in 2013 with state-of-the-art learning. management system to provide interactive learning on connected platforms 24/7.

NMIMS Mumbai Cutoff

With NMIMS Mumbai accepting NMAT Scores for MBA enrollments, candidates are required to meet the sectional cutoffs for the entrance test in order to participate in further admission rounds. This year, the NMAT cutoff score for MBA selection can be as high as 235+. This means the aspirants need to secure either 99 or 99 percentile marks in NMAT to clear the NMIMS Mumbai cutoff criteria and get admission to the course.
