Welingkar Institute of Management Mumbai, established in 1977, is a private management institute. Welingkar Mumbai is an autonomous school affiliated with Mumbai University that has received AICTE approval and NBA accreditation. The school provides management programs in full-time, part-time, executive, and distance learning formats through its campus in Mumbai. Welingkar University received the 'RMAI Corporate Excellence Award 2023'  during the 'Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI) Conclave, 2023' in Delhi.

PGDM is the institute's premier course. Seven specialisations are available for the Welingkar Mumbai PGDM course. The specialisations offered at the institute include Research and Business Analytics, Business Design, Retail, Healthcare, and Media and Entertainment. Reservations for admission based on graduation state or linguistic minority are not available at Mumbai's Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research. Merit alone determines admission.

Welingkar Mumbai Admission 

For Welingkar Mumbai admission to its PGDM program in 2025, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with 50% of the possible points in order to be considered. Additionally, in order to be considered for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds, they must have a valid CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, or GMAT score.

 However, the admission process may differ for other courses. The details are given below:

• The 11-month PG programs are offered in media management and entrepreneurship. For the PGP-Entrepreneurship, applicants must own a business or set to inherit. The admission to these courses is merit-based and academic profile up until graduation is considered.
• The MMS program is directly affiliated with Mumbai University. The total intake for this 2-year course is 120 and the admission process is regulated by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.
• PGPTM is a postgraduate program in Temple Management and is relevant to the people associated with various temples. The course is 6 months and will commence soon. Admission to the program is merit-based. 

Welingkar Mumbai Cutoff 

For admission to different programs, Welingkar accepts scores of different entrance exams. Applicants need to submit these cutoff scores at the time of filling out application forms. The cutoff of these entrance exams for the 2024 batch has been released and the details are given.
