Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research & Entrepreneurship Education was founded in 1983 to deliver quality education to students. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE]. It is a public institute affiliated with Mumbai University. The admission to its flagship course of MMS is through DTE Maharashtra.

SIMSREE admissions to MMS are based on the scores of CAT/CMAT or MHA MBA CET. For admission, the cutoff ranges from 99.76 to 99.97 per cent based on the student quota and category. 

SIMSREE has a placement cell ensuring smooth placement activities. For 2023, SIMSREE highest package was INR 21.53 LPA with BFSI being the top recruiting sector.

SIMSREE Courses & Fees

SIMSREE offers postgraduate programs in a variety of subjects, including finance, human resources, operations, and marketing. It is regarded as one of India's most prominent institutes of commerce. 

The total intake for the MMS course is 180 (through DTE ) and for PhD program, it is 30.

Aside from these, the institute also offers 2 part-time courses- MFM and MMM. Both these courses are of 3-year duration with 6 semesters. The total number of seats available for these courses is 30 each. 

SIMSREE Admission 

SIMSREE courses can be divided into two groups- full-time and part-time courses. The full-time courses are MMS and PhD and, and the part-time courses are MFM and MMM.

The PhD program admission is based on university norms however, for admission to MMS, applicants must have valid scores of CAT, CMAT, ATMA or MHA MBA CET. Based on these scores, applicants will have their colleges and programs allocated by Maharashtra DTE after CAP rounds. 

For MFM and MMM, the admission is based on a telephonic round of interviews after the submission of the application form. These forms are available on the official website after 2nd week of February to the last date of submission. Applicants must have a graduation degree. 

SIMSREE Cutoff 

SIMSREE cutoff is only applicable for the MMS course. The MHA CET 2024 cutoff has not been announced yet. The CAT 2024 cutoff will also be announced after the result of CAT 2024 is released. After the DTE CAP rounds, the cutoff details are made public. 

SIMSREE MMS Cutoff

The expected SIMSREE MMS cutoff 2024 for MHA CET is 99.76 percentile for Maharastra State general category candidates. Similarly, the CAT and other expected cutoffs for general category students of Maharashtra are given below:

SIMSREE ranking 2024 has been released by IIRF and India Today. Details are given in the table below:

SIMSREE placement 2024 has been completed with more than 76 recruiters. Out of these, 34 recruiters visited the campus for the first time and many PPOs were offered from prestigious cohorts like Barclays, GEP, Icestasy, Citicorp, HDFC Bank etc. More details are given in the table below:
