Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria 2024 for ME/ M.Tech/M.Arch (Full-time)

  • Qualification: Candidates should have a qualifying graduate degree from a recognized government university or institution. Aspirants who possess a valid GATE score get the first preference. Aspirants must be qualified with at least 45% for (SC/ST and OBC candidates) whereas 50% marks general candidates.
  • Experience: Total work experience must be at least three years as of Jul 31, 2024 to satisfy eligibility criteria. The candidate must be employed with an organization not farther than 40 kilometers from the college campus wherein he/she seeks admission. It is applicable only to those who apply for a part-time course.

Note: Karnataka PGCET eligibility criteria 2024 specify that only Karnataka candidates are eligible for reservation.

Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria 2024 for ME/ M.Tech/M.Arch (Part-time)

Karnataka PGCET 2024 MBA Eligibility (Full/Part-time)

  • Qualification: Candidates must have a three-year graduate degree from a recognized government university or institution after completion of 10+2, in any stream, with at least 50% marks for General candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST and OBC candidates.   • Experience: The total work experience must be at least three years as of 31st July 2024 to satisfy eligibility criteria. Candidates must be employed with an organization not farther than 40 kilometers from the college campus wherein he/she seeks admission. 

Karnataka PGCET 2024 MCA Eligibility (Full/Part-Time)

 It is essential to match the eligibility criteria to apply for the test. Candidates appearing must fulfill the Karnataka PGCET eligibility for MCA for both full and part-time as stated below:

  • Qualification: Candidates must have a three-year graduate degree from a recognized government university or institution with a minimum of 50% marks for General candidates and 45% marks for (SC/ST and OBC candidates). Karnataka PGCET eligibility criteria 2024 specify that only Karnataka candidates are eligible for reservation.

Note: To satisfy eligibility criteria, the candidate must have compulsorily studied Maths/ Stats/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Business Maths, Computer Programming/ Business Statistics as one of his/ her optional subjects. 

Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Clause

Karnataka PGCET Eligibility 2024 MCA and MBA-Guidelines

Aspirants must be aware of the Karnataka PGCET eligibility criteria 2024 for MBA and MCA. Before exam commencement, candidates must be cautious about the eligibility criteria of both MBA and MCA, and the parameters related to the exam are as follows.

  • Candidate must have studied and passed in one or more Government recognized educational or Government institutions located in the state of Karnataka for at least seven academic years (from class 1 to the qualifying examination).
  • Seven years should be either continuous or in a broken period as on 1st July 2024 in which the entrance test gets conducted.
  • Candidate must have appeared and passed either SSLC / 10th standard or 2nd PUC / 12th standard examination from a Government recognized institution located in Karnataka state.
  • The candidate must have studied and passed the qualifying examination within the state of Karnataka from an Educational Institution run or recognized by the State Government.
  • Applicants either of the guardians (mother or father) should have studied in Government recognized institutions in Karnataka for a minimum period of 7 years.
  • Daughter/son of an Ex-serviceman who declares Karnataka as his hometown, proof of such domicile must be obtained and produced from the Deputy Director, Department of Sainik Welfare and Resettlement at the time of joining defence service.
  • Further, the candidate must have passed the qualifying exam from a University or Board or any other institution located anywhere in India.

Karnataka PGCET 2024 ME/ M.Tech- Guidelines

Candidates must be aware of whether they are eligible for ME/M. Tech, they should be cautious about Karnataka PGCET Eligibility criteria 2024 for MTech and ME. Students need to remember some guidelines for Eligibility Criteria, and these guidelines are as below:

  • Candidate must have studied and passed in one or more government-recognized educational or government institutions located in the state of Karnataka for at least seven academic years (from class 1 to the qualifying examination).
  • Seven years should be either continuous or in a broken period as on 1st July 2024 in which the entrance test gets conducted.
  • The candidate must have appeared and passed either SSLC / 10th standard or 2nd PUC / 12th standard examination from a Government recognized institution located in Karnataka state.

  • Either of the candidates’ parents (mother or father) should have studied in Government recognized institutions in Karnataka for a minimum period of 7 years.
  • A candidate or a parent of the candidate has resided in Karnataka for a minimum period of 7 years.

Karnataka PGCET 2024 GATE Eligibility

Aspirants having a valid GATE score gets first preference in the Karnataka PGCET 2024. Candidates must check their Gate scores before appearing for the exam and the parameters mentioned below.

  • Candidates can Apply to Karnataka PGCET 2024 with their GATE Score.
  • Candidates must have a valid Gate Score for PGCET eligibility.
  • If the Gate Score of the candidate is above the qualifying scores, then the candidate will be eligible to apply for ME/M.Tech courses.
