The National Talent Search Examination is conducted for the students studying in class 10 with two papers, SAT and MAT. SAT academic knowledge and MAT assess the analytical and logical reasoning skills of a student.

NTSE MAT Syllabus 2024
NTSE Mental Ability Test (MAT) assesses the student's power of reasoning, evaluation, and the ability to think, judge, visualize, etc. MAT is a psychological test consisting of 100 objective questions based on causality, analysis, and compilation.

NTSE Maharashtra Exam Pattern
Each correct answer carries one point each, thus making the candidate's total score in a test equal to the number of questions answered correctly. All the students who achieve requisite scores at this level automatically qualify for scholarships that NCERT hands over.
There are 100 questions for 100 marks to be completed in 120 minutes duration, i.e., 2 hours.
